Erika's Art Page
Hi and welcome to my art page! I love creating and bring my imagination to life. Please enjoy the ar My name is Erika and I would consider myself a rookie artist.
I’m mostly self taught. I’m decent at line work, love experimenting with colors and have a keen “artist intuition” when it comes to learning new things. What’s interesting about my rookie title, is that I’ve been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil. And I drew everyday for about 18 years. And then I dove head first into pursuing an education in art and, for a lack of better words, I faile
Practicing what I preach 🌊

Today is the first of classes for the community college I work at and it's got me missing school. Ah, to be a college freshman again 👩🏾🏫🎒📚. What would you do differently as a college freshman knowing what you know now? 🤔

I recently got back into reading my horoscope. Say what you want about astrology but sometimes I need a good old fashion cosmic intervention haha
My horoscope today told me "Things going differently than expected doesn't mean they're going wrong." Noted!

📸 Made this for my brand new niece! Now my family has 10 leos 🤦🏾♀️and my love for holographic vinyl is strong!

Still trying to find my voice in this world. I wonder what it's going to feel like, look like, even taste like, when everything comes together in my life and feels "right"?
I know I know, the goal is to not obsess and overthink these things because (in my uncle Phil voice) "there is no such thing as "right"." I'm working on letting this s**t go 🙄

📸 Made this beauty for my cousin 🎂 I can't do a project without holographic! #
Congratulations to all the Wilsons that tied the knot in 2021 💕
My first order! My sis wanted a homemade gift for her friend's wedding and I delivered. After hand-rolling over 100 flowers, wincing through hot glue gun burns and dealing with usual artist's doubt, I truly feel proud of the final product!
I need help 😩 which flower do you like more in this holographic vinyl? Lotus or Cherry Blossom??
Thanks for your input in advance 🤗
Drink water but make it cute and personal. I love how this turned out but tell me what you think! 😌🍃🌻
Tumblers for the Mesdames!
Made these for my moms; I love using my holographic vinyl!

Hi friends! It’s so silly but this is a W! I suck at being active on social media and the thought of putting myself out there is so nerve wrecking. But I hope to show you all some cool art and crafts! So thank you for joining this journey with me as I become a better artist and get out of my internet shell.
Also, while you’re here, if you can give me ANY advice on how to do this social media thing, and like how to...be myself?? Idk! Like I said, this is a little uncomfortable for me but I miss my friends, I miss connecting with people and being apart of a community and I don’t want my fears to keep me from any of that. ✌🏾
Ripping off the bandaid! I’ve wanted to set up an art page for a minute now but as you can imagine, life got in the way. Me, I’m life, I got in the way. It’s scary to put yourself out there!
But it’s now or never! It time to believe in me and invest in my growth as an artist. Time to get back on the train and finish this journey. We’ll see where this takes me 😁
