Great to hear the reading last night at the QEH Southbank Centre - and the chat with Russell Tovey afterwards.

Fleur Adcock was at London Review Bookshop last night, reading from her Collected Poems Bloodaxe Books. I loved the intro by Neil Astley - Marilyn Duckworth - author was mentioned a few times in the intro. Kristen Phillips - author and I were so happy to be there for this.

The emotional intelligence of this superb essay by Alan McCormick - the brilliant dialogue and simple, spare style. (And the ending.) What tour-de-force writing.
