Laughing our way through life! If you know us, you know that we love to go on adventures.
Way to go Jayhawks! What a fun game!
NYE looks very different at this point in life…but I love the tradition of just getting out of town for
the weekend and have adventures and laughter with loved ones!
Thanks to a friends recommendation, we found two great plant shops…ROOTS KC and Virgils Plant Shop. We loved both!
Roots KC serves mimosas and hot chocolate on Sundays! ❤️
A few more pics from Brictionary….
Always keep your heart full with those that make you the happiest and bring you the most joy! We love the memories made over the years with these friends that are now family.❤️
We all loved axe throwing in NOTO! The owners were so kind and helpful and it was a lot of fun! 🪓
Girlfriends, laughter, snacks (no real food), drinks, goats, pigs, a yurt, rain, and PINK concert…..what could go wrong?? 🤦🏼♀️🤣
It’s almost time….eek! Sooo excited!
Spoooooky…..Atchinson has such cool houses to see, even if you don’t believe the 👻 stories! My little Halloween lover is just sure that she captured ghosts in her photos!😊
We didn’t let the rain ruin our whole day…stopped by the KC public library (Alyssia could have stayed all day) and had lunch with the fairies.
Sunny and clear when we left Topeka….poring down rain in KC! The weather app wasn’t quite accurate about the rains’ end time, so our Worlds of Fun day didn’t happen. BOO!!
Off to find new adventures…
Grinter Farms is one of my happy places!❤️
Not much has changed over the years….I still wander around happily and Alyssia hollers and freaks out over the bugs. It’s great.
This place is SO yummy! The Honey Pie pizza and the pizza bread were both freakin amazing! I am not a big beer drinker, but I loved the Toto beer.
This is a great place for Topeka. There are indoor pickle ball courts, corn hole, and a big game shelf for kids. 10/10 recommend
Joy=Early morning hot air balloons, pajamas, ballon chasing, and two of my favorite people!
This little magical place is just off north highway 75…Thousands and thousands of beautiful Lily pads in two coves. You must go see it! 😍
It’s been a week…this little hidden gem was just what I needed to brighten up my week! I had the Mexican Candy and it was magnificent! Not too sweet, just perfect.
(We had dinner here a few nights ago and it was delicious, too! Rosas queso…need I say more? 😉)
Mijos Coffee Eatery
610 SW Wayne
The lake is calm and peaceful early in the morning….and did you know they make life jackets with POCKETS??
Very beautiful! This wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was beautiful to stroll around and see the spring and the gorgeous flowers and landscaping.
Hills, hills, everywhere in this town! My calves and gluts are burning!
This drive thru park of animal encounters was a favorite! It provided lots and lots of laughs-and animals coming right into our laps! (Although that Emu was a bit much for me-I rolled my window up each time it came back for me 🤣)
There are a few advantages to hanging out with those that rise super early in the morning…you get to see beautiful things in very peaceful settings.
Beautiful spot to swim at Beaver Lake!
