Wild Crow Weaving
Welcome to Wild Crow Weaving! We think every home needs a little touch of handwoven art. Take a look
My first art show!! It was so much fun seeing all of the amazing art at tonight. The theme is “rooted in nature,” so there were lots of paintings and photos of natural beauty. Cheers to new experiences!
I feel like Sept 1 ushers in the best time of the year, the 'ber months, the spooky season, and Fall! Celebrate making it through another unbearable St. Louis summer with me with this special sale! All spooky ornaments are 25% now until Sept 18 (or as long as they last.)
Why do you need a spooky skull ornament, you ask?
Decorate your cubicle at work.
Surprise a friend with a cute little silk sari tassel and skull.
Tie one to a fall birthday gift.
Dangle one from your purse or bag.
Hang one from your rearview mirror, if that's your vibe.
Tuck one into your braid or ponytail.
Tie one to the end of a stick and pop it into a potted plant or bouquet.

Stick one in your fall tiered tray display.
Most of these ornaments are made with recycled silk sari yarn in bright, beautiful colors.
Friends, I have several new pieces up on Etsy this week! Who's ready for fall decorating?

The theme for was Immerse. Sorry, not the best photo, but here’s one project I was IMMERSED in during August. So many flowers! Loved creating this little meadow.

I never back my weavings with anything, but this little cornfield just didn’t feel sturdy enough on its own. Stitching it to a piece of felt gave it a lot more stability and keeps everything in place. Going to let it hang for a few days and see what happens.
Do you back your weavings?
Sunflowers!!! One of my favorite parts of August in the Midwest is seeing big sunflowers blooming everywhere. 🌻
Biggest garden weaving yet. Finding a nice balance between plenty of flowers and too many flowers. It’s funny because that’s the same challenge I have in real gardening!! lol Even added a little swarm of bumblebees to this one. 🐝 Gotta have pollinators!
Hmmmm Not sure this is going in the right direction. I’ve been experimenting with combining collage with weaving. Had an idea of doing kind of a deconstructed beach. Love the collage and love the weaving, but not sure that I love them together. Both things will probably end up as parts of other projects ( weaving isn’t finished. )
Thoughts?
Love how this little mountain turned out!
If you are looking for a sign that it's time to start thinking about Halloween decorations, this is it! And to make it even better, all my Halloween and Fall decor is on sale for 25% off right now!!! Come on in and get your spooky on!

Love my customers! 💙💛💙💛
Need a little walk on the beach as the sun comes up? Me, too! Let’s go!
Isn’t it fun when something turns out way better than you had hoped? Wasn’t sure where I was going with my new collage obsession. I knew I wanted to combine fiber art and collage. Some of the ideas were real doozies, let me tell ya!
But this… I love so much about it, from its rustic mishmash of colors and textures to its beautiful frame covered in collage papers that I created. It feels super organic and handmade. 🤎🧡💚💛

Check out this fun troll adventure in Minnesota! The huge trolls look amazing! Thanks Dakota Scandi for sharing this gem.
The theme this month in was JOY. I have to say, my little patio garden has brought me lots of joy throughout July. And, as usual, if I see it and love it, I feel compelled to try to weave it. This little purple and yellow combo in a grapevine wreath makes me smile every time I look at her.
Hope you are finding joy in your days, too!
Having so much fun exploring how to combine collage with weaving. Took a wonderful online workshop by Catherine Rains and have played with lots of ideas of how to put the two together. So far this is my favorite!
Hmmm, I think I need a roadtrip! Working on a wildflower meadow, a mountain. and a sand dune today. Think the universe is trying to tell me something. 💚
Too soon for snow, lol? A few months ago people were posting cool photos of the northern lights and I just needed to weave something with those beautiful colors.
Having so much fun creating mini gardens this week! 💜💛💚
Peek into the fairy’s garden!
Friends! She’s in the shop now! These tend to go quickly. Also, I’m open for customs right now, so if you’d like a garden of your own in a different size ( I think it would be fun to weave a really big one! ), shoot me a message.

What’s on your to do list on this steamy Saturday? Finishing this busy little garden is at the top of mine!
Knee high by the 4th of July. 🌽

😳 frantically pulling credit card out….
I love this 🦇 🦇🦇
Not my photo. Not my meme.
So much road trip inspiration. The blue skies, cornfields and roadside wildflowers were really showing off in south central Iowa this past weekend. Got lots of ideas percolating!
