Due to the increased presence of dogs running at large in the community, animal control will be increasing the patrols.
If your dog is picked up it will be taken directly to the pound located on the other side of Mindemoya.
You may have to pay fines in excess of $200 to get your dog back.
Please keep your pet tied to avoid this situation.

We are expecting heavy snowfall starting the evening of Friday January 12th into Saturday.
Please ensure you are prepared. Stay home when possible. Ensure you do not park on roads overnight.

Please make sure that you have appropriate cell numbers in case you have to contact someone. Also, remember that if cell phone calls cannot be made due to the system being overloaded, there is still a chance that text messages can be sent.

The municipality appreciates your patience and stay safe this weekend.

RE: 2023 COYOTE PREDATION COMPENSATION PROGRAM

Please note that the Township allocated $2,000 for the 2023 Budget year for the Coyote Predation Compensation Program on a first come first serve basis. As of today’s date, the 2023 allocation has now been depleted. There will be no more claim forms accepted for 2023.

This program will be reviewed prior to the 2024 Budget year.

Children ages 12 and under may hunt. Everyone is welcome to come and watch.

Sunday April 9th at 2 pm sharp. At the home of Delmer and Les Fields (15491 Hwy 6 Manitowaning).

All participants are asked to wear boots and bring a bag or basket to collect the eggs.
