The anticipation is killing me! In less than 24 hours, The Drunken Raccoon will make our debut in the Newmarket Village Campground at The Texas Renaissance Festival. This is a huge step for us, and we can't wait to meet all the new patrons.

Gluten free cakes will return to the booth this weekend at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. This week, we will have Death by Chocolate Rum, Banana Chocolate Chip Irish Cream, and Salted Caramel Whiskey.

It's been a long process to bring these to the shop, and it's still a work in progress. Not only have we had to develop a quality set of recipes that will meet our standards, there is a lot of work that goes into preventing cross contamination. For a small business, these are serious challenges. We've accepted those challenges, and we're committed to overcoming them, but in the short term, it means that we will be hit or miss on having products in stock.

Minnesota has been very, very welcoming. One might even say that we're a bit of a sensation. It's wonderful. It's amazing. It's "How many hours can we spend in the bakery this week"? The answer is, "a lot". So many hours. But we have a lot of cake.

Speaking of cake: Is finally here. This Sunday, we will have GLUTEN FREE CAKE!!! Yeah, I know, we've been telling you it's coming soon for so long. It's been a journey. It'll be worth it. As previously mentioned, The Drunken Raccoon is collaborating with Boozy Cakes to bring liquor cakes to the besotted, I mean delightful, people of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Nine days ago, the place looked a little rough. Tomorrow, Nonna's Tipsy Tortes will be open for business. Needless to say, it has been a busy week. We'll be celebrating our grand opening with half priced liquor cakes. What will you be doing?

As many of you know, The Drunken Raccoon works in partnership with Boozy Cakes to bring you the delicious cakes you know and love. We're taking our partnership to a new level this year, to bring our cakes to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, from August 17th through September 29th. So if you are at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, drop by Nonna's Tipsy Tortes to get your fix, I mean fill. Same great cakes. Yet another name.

Hey folks, I have an awkward request. As you know, the Drunken Raccoon is not insecure in the least. Not at all the sort to ask people to sing our praises. It kinda makes us blush, and get all self conscious. Buuuut....

We're applying to a festival that wants to hear good things about us. So, if you want to tell us how much you love our cake, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it, feel free to comment here. We'd love your feedback.

We’re checking in to let you know we have not desserted you. In fact, we have been busy planning for TRF, working on gluten free recipe options, and currently doing a side hustle involving fireworks. 🎆

Hey big bundt lovers,

We have some exciting new developments. We are pleased as punch to announce that Drunken Raccoon Liquor Cakes will be vending in the Newmarket Village at Texas Renaissance Festival during October and November of this year. For those who don't know, Newmarket is the patron campground at TRF. This is a huge step for the business, and we're absolutely stoked to bring our cakes to a new audience. Cheers friends!

The last weekend of the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival is always a little slow...except when it isn't. Somehow, people showed up yesterday, and they did this. That's our entire stock of cakes on the table. If you want em, better get em early.

We're Bundt Pirates

They say chocolate makes everything better. So far, we can’t argue that fact.

For you chocoholics, our feature flavors this weekend is Chocolate Peanut Butter Skrewball made with Skrewball whisky (for those of you who don’t know, it’s peanut butter flavored whisky, and it packs a punch!) 🍫🥃

The other is our Banana Chocolate Chip Irish Creme, which is akin to those epic banana splits we’ve had growing up - we highly recommend it with a dollop of whipped cream or a small scoop of ice cream for full pleasant nostalgia. 🍨
