This is convicting and humbling for us all. Reevaluating and deciding what our why is may reveal certain desires to fill an eternal void with temporary earthly things. What matters to God’s heart should be our primary priorities. 🤍

As I wrote this and then read it back, I almost choked on my coffee! I am 100% convicted by this truth that came to mind today. Praise God for the Holy Spirit’s conviction and kindness. He loves us so much that He gently reminds us of truth. This truth is something that can shake us and wake us up from our spiritual slumber. We can get comfortable spewing out words, or doing something out of sheer selfishness. But what if we stopped to ask ourselves why. Why am I speaking, or thinking this way. What is my goal and is what I’m saying and doing achieving that goal, or am I sabotaging myself? This are important questions that can change the way we think, speak and act. Receive His love, and let it be the driving force in your life.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hope truly is an anchor for our souls. When you anchor your life in hope, you won’t waiver in your convictions or feel the need to constantly fill a void. In fact, you won’t feel empty. You will be satisfied in knowing that you aren’t needing the world to fulfill you. You can find rest and peace in knowing you are satisfied in God and the hope of eternity!
I truly HOPE that you can find peace and comfort in Him.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11
Eternity is what our heart is yearning for, whether we are aware of it or not. We are living day in and day out striving to find a sense of fulfillment so we can feel 100% complete and satisfied. The truth is we will experience glimpses of eternity while we are on Earth.
Knowing what is ahead for those of us who believe brings so much joy to the journey. If life is feeling like a series of terrible circumstances or you are experiencing pain, I hope God reveals to you a glimpse eternity....

Psalms 103 : this passage has been playing over and over in my mind since the message on Sunday and has encouraged my heart. This sums up the outcome of God’s steadfast love - forgives, heals, and redeems! The whole chapter speaks of all His benefits and goodness towards us. He really is all we need!
