This years winner for the T-shirt contest ended up be a combination between 2 submissions, congratulations to Casie Knoshal and Courtney Buseman. We will be posting a picture next week.

We still plan on doing fireworks at 10 on the 4th. We will watch the weather and keep everyone up to date if there are any changes.

Reminder only one more day to get your submission submitted for the Maynard Rodeo T-shirt contest, this years rodeo is Aug 24th! Don’t forget to join us this Thursday at the Maynard 4th of July celebration and purchase your Maynard Rodeo raffle tickets. Members will be walking around with them so make sure to flag one of us down to get your winning ticket.

Just a reminder only a week left to get your submission in for the Maynard Rodeo T-shirt contest. Winner gets 4 tickets to the Maynard Rodeo on August 24th. We are also looking for color suggestions also.

Only 2 months away rodeo fans! If you haven’t gotten your raffle tickets yet, reach out to one of Maynard’s fire department members and they can certainly help you out. Only 1,500 tickets being sold this year.

This years Maynard Rodeo will be held on August 24th, 2024. We will be having a T-shirt logo contest again. The lucky winner will receive 4 tickets, along with their logo on this years shirts! Good luck to everyone that will participate! All submissions need to be submitted to our page or to Nicci at the Maynard City Hall by July 1st. Winner will be announce the following week, please know the Fire Department reserves the right to make any changes to the winning design. We are also interested in what color of t-shirts our rodeo fans are interested in, all shirt will be unisex. Last years winner was Jenny Grimm, we hope to see all your submissions.

After many struggles with the weather we finally have the rink ready for skating! the clara city skate rink will be open to all this evening. It will be a short season, Enjoy and be safe!

Come join us for a Pancake Breakfast January 20th at the Maynard Community Center from 7:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. Free will donation with all proceeds going towards the purchase of fireworks for Maynard’s July 4th celebration.

Today we had the privilege of teaming up with the Clara City Fire Department to teach the Maccray Pre-school and Kindergarten classes about fire prevention and what to do in case of a fire.

Private message us with quantity and sizes along with your phone number and we will do drop off’s in Montevideo, Clara City and Maynard on scheduled nights when we receive them. FIreworks at dusk!, we are ready here in Maynard!

If your interested in purchasing your raffle tickets before the rodeo in August, Fire Department members will have them on hand during the parade on Tuesday July 4th in Maynard. Tickets say must be present, that is an error and you do not need to be present.
