Mushroom stair way to heaven, Flammulina velutipes. This is wild Enoki, the SAME species you buy in the grocery store or eat in your favorite Asian cuisine. Crazy how different the natural verses commercial grown fungi look. Nature nurtures.

Felt mushrooms now in the Etsy shop! These can be customized as a magnet or pin/brooch at no extra cost. Or purchase a beanie and add a mushroom to it for an extra $5. The Lactarious indigo is definitely my favorite!! I’d love to make a specific mushroom for you!

As I prepare for my first market as β€˜Fungologie’ I am reflecting on a question I get asked frequently, β€œHow did you get into mushroom hunting?”. The answer: moss and lichens. I’ve always been astounded by their unique miniature world . And where you find moss, you find mushrooms. πŸ˜ŠπŸ„
