The block has had any sharp edges and casting flash ground off and cleaned up, along with radiusing sharp ledges, the front oil galley plugs have been tapped for 1/4-18 NPT plugs to get rid of those pesky press in plugs from the factory!
Everyone on this page building an engine don't go flat tappet unless you have new old stock parts it's not worth the risk. If you can't afford to go roller now odds are you can't afford to build your engine twice.

These cast aluminum manifolds accept square-bore carburetors and are pressure tested to ensure maximum performance. They start to make awesome power around 3,000 rpm.
