Sourwood is ready to harvest! Beautiful capped frames!

Happy 4th of July!

Bee yard #2 was set up in the mountains this morning. Sourwood just started blooming in the higher elevations. This year we have 31 hives there!

Bees are working on some new cut comb frames!

Honey giveaway!! Guess how many pounds of honey we pulled this Spring and post in the comments, the closest guess will receive 3 bottles of honey. For a tip check out our video on processing. You have to watch it and tip is not at the end 😀 I’ll update the total this Saturday.

Moved the bees to the mountains this morning at 2:45AM. Thanks to my dad for helping move them. Ready to produce some sourwood honey!

Bee day was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to put those newly painted boxes on some hives!
