It can be painful knowing how separate we are from one another, with no way to fully communicate how we see and experience the world to another human. You can never know the endless worlds that exist in another person.

You will never fully know the heartache, the pain, or the loss felt by another. Nor the joy, the bliss, or their deepest desires. And no one will ever fully know yours, only a version of it filtered through their own lens.

And yet striving for connection is the most important thing we could ever do. To get as close as possible to the Truth of another human is the deepest form of spirituality. Opening your heart, being vulnerable, extending empathy, and trying to see the world through someone else's eyes will bring you closer to Truth and Love.

And what are we here for, if not to seek Truth and Love?

If you are feeling lonely and lost, please reach out to someone and connect. It can feel scary and vulnerable, but opening yourself up beyond the surface level is the most beautiful and courageous thing you can do ๐Ÿ’œ

For the Highly Sensitive Person:

I've been told my entire life that I'm "too sensitive". And I am sensitive. I feel very deeply, with my emotional well finding new depths every day. My creativity spurs from a sense of knowing, a place inside that is tied to a collective awareness.

Being told for years that I'm too sensitive, however, caused untold damage. My finely tuned intuition should have been my guiding light, but I was made to question it. In saying I am "too sensitive", they were saying there is something wrong with me.

I had internalized this so deeply that I searched for someone to tell me what was broken inside of me. You see, if I didn't know what was wrong, how could I fix it? This searching lead to abusive relationships, friendships, and jobs.

I internalized the gaslighting and invalidated my own self. Alarm bells in my body were constantly blaring while my brain denied there was even a bell. I truly believed that I was too much while simultaneously not enough. I felt inherently broken.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to consider this: those who claim you're too sensitive need you to be small so they can feel big. Your presence, your knowing, your deep well of emotions makes them uncomfortable. They do not wish to look at themselves, so they project onto you what is in their heart. For their comfort, you have made yourself painfully small.

But please know, your sensitivity is a beautiful gift. It shows resilience, empathy, compassion, and a heart as big as the ocean. You deserve to shine so bright, you are a beacon for those who are searching for the light โœจ๏ธ

Confidence is not about perfection. It's about embracing your uniqueness, your strengths, and even your flaws. It's about acknowledging your individuality and not being afraid to shine your light. Confidence is the ability to appreciate your journey, your growth, and to be proud of who you have become.

Take a moment to appreciate all that you are right now. The messiness and heartache, the laughter and joy, the strength and courage. You deserve to walk through this world with confidence and grace ๐Ÿ’œ

Balance is created when you honor your needs and adhere to your values

With balance comes alignment and harmony

When you are guided by your inner knowing, you are rooted in your Truth and nothing can cause you to waver

From this place, you can find health in all areas of your life. Physical, spiritual, and emotional.

The seasons are shifting, bringing forward new perspectives and familiar aches
Notice the subtle changes in the air and how your breath knows to adjust to the slightly sharpened edges
Notice your energy waning and honor the needs your body is telling you
Notice if the heart is open or constricted, with no agenda to change it
Just notice. Allow. Breath.

25/09/2023

Where is your peace?
Is it in the quiet morning hours before the sun rises?
Is it in laughter when spending time with loved ones?
Maybe it comes when you finally make the leap your heart has been aching for, but your mind resisted
Wherever it lies, find it, protect it, and encourage it to grow ๐Ÿ™

21/09/2023

Soften. Lighten. Create gentleness through laughter and play.

It's easy to get caught up in the serious business of healing, especially when managing life's demands while in pain. It can be so heavy.

Give your shoulders a rest and put down the burden you carry each day, if only for a little while. This is an act of self-compassion.

Spend time with friends who fill your cup. Dance in the kitchen. Be silly and let go. Great joy can be found in the smallest things ๐Ÿ’œ

19/09/2023

Strength and resilience in mind, body, and spirit. Building these character traits is key to having the life you want.

Sit with the pain. Sit with the discomfort. Learn to allow and accept what cannot be changed, then put your entire heart into anything that can ๐Ÿ’œ

27/08/2023

Lean into the discomfort that comes from growth and change. Move through the pain with grace and patience. Separate from the story and feel the full spectrum of emotions. Open your heart with gratitude to endure the suffering of being human ๐Ÿ™ โœจ๏ธ

I have many tools at my disposal, massages being one of them. I have several different massagers at home and get monthly professional massages

Rest and relaxation are things I have to force myself to do, but I'm getting better at it โœจ๏ธ

Even though my brain is telling me I don't have time for this, I'm giving my body the rest and care it needs ๐Ÿ’œ

If you need support in giving your body the rest it needs to manage your chronic pain, my 12-week program Relief & Renewal may be right for you

Did you know that mindfulness is a proven way to manage pain? Yep, It's backed by science ๐Ÿค“

You don't need to be a Buddhist monk to get these benefits (though if that's what you want, more power to you!)

Practicing mindfulness can be as simple as dedicating a few minutes a day to focus on your breath, body sensations, thoughts, and emotions. The idea is to be fully present in the moment without judgment or distraction.

When we practice mindfulness, we're actually rewiring our brain to become more resilient to pain. Studies have shown that regular mindfulness meditation can help reduce chronic pain and improve overall quality of life. In fact, some research even suggests that mindfulness can be as effective as pain medication in certain situations.

So, how does it work? When we experience pain, our brains tend to focus on the negative aspects of it, often amplifying the discomfort. Mindfulness helps us shift our attention away from these negative thoughts and onto the present moment. This can help decrease the intensity of the pain and make it more manageable.

Are you holding yourself back? Taking the leap of faith to move 1600 miles away from everyone I know and love was not an easy decision. My brain wanted me to stay safe and comfortable, while my heart wanted to grow and find adventure.
Wow, am I glad I took that leap! My business is growing exponentially, I've connected with amazing people, and my comfort zone is no longer a place I want to stay in. I'm surrounded by beautiful mountains with endless skiing, hiking, and camping. To me, this is heaven.
What is your leap of faith?
