Grassroots Leadership Development Program
Grassroots Leadership Development Program is led by a group of seniors each year.
Our leaders promote and facilitate constructive dialogue between CHS students and public officials who administer their local municipal, school, and county governments.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this Saturday and helped support our program at our Multicultural Food Walk! A big thank you to the cafeteria staff, our school district, our wonderful volunteers and all the hardworking members and their families who worked together to make this event possible!
Thank you to People City Mission in Lincoln for allowing us to volunteer at their Help Center today! Truly a great way for our members to come together and give back to the community.
Last week GLDP had the pleasure of speaking with our local city administrator, fire chief, and chief of police. We had a great time and look forward to learning more about the roles in our community. Thank you to Tom Ourada, Tod Allen, and Steve Hensel for speaking with us!

Being a part of the Grassroots Leadership Development Program allows us to speak and meet with many amazing individuals. It is always a pleasure learning about their personal lives as well as how they serve our community. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to meet with us , share their stories , and answer our questions!
