Who's felt the Pisces energy come in over the past week?

The Sun moved into Pisces’ constellation around the 18th of February; when the sun enters a new sign, it illuminates, brings prominence, or adds a spotlight to that sign’s traits.

Pisces is known for it’s dreamy and otherworldly energy. With it being the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces energy holds a little of each of the signs. It’s full of imagination and a bit of a daydreamer, so it’s essential to have a creative channel to avoid getting lost in it.

This energy can see you having difficulty making decisions, so if you struggle, let the energy pass and know that Pisces will always shine light in a dark space, even if it’s not apparent now.

We’ll let you into a little secret... there are NO rules when it comes to meditation.

If you come across rules, either self-created or learned from a teacher, then somewhere the ego is in play, and this is counterproductive to the intention of your meditation practice.

What works for one may not work for another, so we need to find our own way with this ancient practice. There are many different ways for you to try out meditation; Music on, or no music, via an App or lead yourself, with others or alone; Mindfulness, Vipassana, Transcendental - You get our drift!

Our journey with meditation will hopefully last for the rest of our lives, so try different approaches and find what works best for you.

You may try for some time and feel as though you get nowhere, and then you try something different; a different style, time or place and then it all suddenly falls into place. You’ve found your space to sink into that beautiful space of stillness. It’s like plugging yourself into universal energy—the perfect recharge.

The only suggestion we would make (and this isn’t a rule, but we would encourage it) is to sit upright. Lying down will only induce a sleep state, limiting your ability to enhance and increase your practice.

In saying this, how you decide to sit is up to you; chair, couch, bed, floor, lavish cushions, outside, inside, in a quiet place or the middle of a shopping precinct. Whatever works for you and whatever gets you there.

So basically, there are no rules!

😎 SUN MOVES INTO PROGRESSIVE AND INDEPENDENT AQUARIUS ♒ WED 20TH

As we move out of the traditional sign of Capricorn, we bring in the progressive and independent energy of Aquarius. This sign encourages us to be our unique selves and not to be afraid of taking a fresh approach or perspective with certain things in our lives.
