Words spread to those around us. The capital culture or knowledge currency is very important with research ( Sullivan, Moulton and Fitzsimons) suggesting that higher education levels of adults directly impacts the children around them. Hanging around with smarter people will make you smarter.

Monday’s are always a great place to restart and go again. I’ve had some doubts creep in recently, but my mind always goes back to being lost in stories. There is always a forward, it’s just writing a path out. Have a great week all.

A week of slow progress, but one still of progress. Being a writer makes it amazing to wake up and have the power to choose-Which way shall it all go today? A rainy day today, becomes small drops of magic. A door becomes a pathway to a new world. Stories drive our lives-Which way will you choose?

I visited the British Library last week on a work trip. Not only does it have a staggering number of books, it also stores articles, sounds, stamps, patents and many more things. This all amounts to around 170 million items. In one of the free exhibits- they had a copy of the original writing of the Beetle song-In my life. What I love about it, is how most ideas just start off as a scrappy piece of paper. The key is just starting.

This time of year is great to just stand back
and look around. Everything just perfect. Kew gardens at it’s best. Stories start to rush though my veins, some new and some of old. Can I capture them ? Or will they be lost to this magical moment ?

They say hang around with greats to push yourself. In seeing this Salvador Dali, it caught my imagination. The human, which has so many sides. Yet we only tend to see what’s on the outside.
