MindLiven - English MINDLIVEN course
Mindfulness is a state of awareness in which we focus on the present moment, non-judgmentally, and with an open mind. Practicing mindfulness at work can have many benefits, including reducing stress, increasing focus and productivity, improving communication and collaboration, and enhancing overall well-being.
On the other hand, natural environments protect people against the impact of environmental stressors and elicit greater calming responses and a general reduction of physiological symptoms of stress.
The Mindliven Project - Mindfulness in Nature-Based Practices proposes a model of coping with work-related stress based on th combination of Mindfulness and Nature.
Here are some ways to incorporate mindfulness into your workday:
๐Take breaks: Take short breaks throughout the day to recharge and refocus. Use this time to step away from your desk, take a walk, or practice deep breathing exercises.
๐Practice mindful listening: When communicating with others, give them your full attention and be present in the moment. Listen actively and without judgment.
๐Slow down: Resist the urge to multitask and try to focus on one task at a time. Give your full attention to each task and approach it mindfully.
๐Practice gratitude: Take a few minutes each day to reflect on what you are grateful for. This can help shift your focus from negative thoughts to positive ones and improve your overall outlook.
๐Mindful eating: When eating, try to be present in the moment and focus on the taste, smell, and texture of the food. This can help you appreciate your food more and avoid overeating.
๐Mindful breathing: Practice taking slow, deep breaths throughout the day to help reduce stress and increase focus.
Incorporating mindfulness into your workday can help you stay focused, productive, and engaged. Start small, with just a few minutes of mindfulness practice each day, and gradually increase as you become more comfortable.

Spending time in NATURE has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and can be an effective way to COPE WITH STRESS.
โ๐ฟThere are many ways that contact with nature can help reduce stress levels:
๐CALMING EFFECT: Nature has a calming effect on the mind and body. Being surrounded by greenery, fresh air, and natural sounds can help reduce feelings of anxiety and promote relaxation.
๐PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Spending time in nature often involves physical activity, such as hiking, biking, or walking. Exercise is known to be a stress reliever, as it releases endorphins and improves mood.
๐MINDFULNESS: Nature can help us practice mindfulness, which involves being present and fully engaged in the moment. When we focus on the sights, sounds, and sensations around us, we are less likely to ruminate on stressful thoughts and worries.
๐SOCIAL SUPPORT: Nature can also provide opportunities for social support, whether it's spending time with friends and family or meeting new people with similar interests.
If you are feeling stressed at or after work, consider spending time in nature as a way to cope. You could take a walk in a park or forest, go on a camping trip, or even spend time in your backyard gardening. Any amount of time spent in nature can be beneficial for your mental health.

Mindfulness can be a useful tool to cope with work-based stress. It involves focusing your attention on the present moment, without judgment or distraction. By doing so, you can gain a better perspective on your thoughts and emotions, which can help you manage stress more effectively.
Some tips you can use in mindfulness practice to cope with work-based stress:
โTake short breaks: Set aside a few minutes every hour or so to step away from your work and focus on your breath. Close your eyes if possible, and take a few slow, deep breaths. This can help you relax and reset your focus. You can focus on the NATURE. Exposure to nature can reduce the negative mood state and enhance positive emotions, which in turn help in coping with the stressful situations.
๐ฟPractice mindful listening: When in conversation with coworkers, try to focus fully on what they are saying, without allowing your mind to wander or become distracted by other thoughts. This can help improve communication and reduce misunderstandings.
โUse mindfulness to manage emotions: When feeling stressed, try to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Acknowledge them and then let them pass without dwelling on them. This can help you avoid getting caught up in negative thoughts or feelings.
๐ฟ Incorporate mindfulness into your routine: Make mindfulness a regular part of your day by setting aside time each day for meditation or other mindfulness practices. This can help you build resilience and reduce stress over time.
๐Remember, mindfulness takes practice, and it may take some time to notice its benefits. But with patience and persistence, it can be an effective way to cope with work-based stress.

MINDFULNESS PRACTICES in NATURE can be an effective way TO MANAGE STRESS and promote mental wellbeing AT WORK ENVIRONMENT.
Here are some tips on how to incorporate mindfulness practices into your time spent in nature:
๐ฟTake some deep breaths and focus on your breathing. Try to breathe deeply and slowly, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
๐ฟse your senses to become fully present in the moment. Take in the sights, sounds, smells, and sensations around you. Notice the colors, textures, and shapes of the natural environment. Listen to the sounds of the birds, the rustling of leaves, or the sound of running water.
๐ฟEngage in gentle movement or stretching. Try some yoga poses or simply stretch your arms, legs, and back.
๐ฟPractice gratitude by focusing on the things in nature that you appreciate and are grateful for. For example, you might feel grateful for the warmth of the sun, the beauty of the trees, or the sound of the wind.
๐ฟFinally, simply allow yourself to be present in the moment, without judgment or distraction. Give yourself permission to let go of worries, thoughts, and concerns, and just be with NATURE.
Do you like it?
Incorporating these mindfulness practices into your time spent in nature can be a powerful tool for managing stress and promoting overall wellbeing. Remember to be patient with yourself and to practice regularly, even if it's just for a few minutes each day. Over time, you may find that these practices become an integral part of your self-care routine.

The best way to learn is when people fully immerse themselves in the material. This approach is also related to the concept of active learning. According to the concept of active learning, the focus is on the experience of the learner and what they do with that experience, including their decisions about it (Watkins et al. 2007). Most experts agree that students learn best when they take an active role in the educational process, discussing what they read, practicing what they learn, and applying concepts and ideas (Davis, 1993; Smart & Csapo, 2007).

THE WORK STRESS refers to the emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and physiological reaction to aversive and noxious aspects of work, work environments and work organisations. Itโs a state characterized by high levels of arousal and distress and often by feelings of not coping (Cox, Griffiths & Rial-Gonzรกlez, 2000).
Different events can be stressful to different individuals, since the meaning of the event differs between people, and individuals have different resources available to deal or to cope with work demands.
How to cope with stress?
๐Mindfulness Practices and Nature contact showed a positive impact on people. They increase their wellbeing, working memory or problem-solving capacity. And in the organisational setting they increase job performance, citizenship behaviours, creativity, performance in negotiations, interpersonal relationships, and job satisfaction.
๐ชดNATURE - On the one hand - directly influences stress and mental fatigue. On the other hand, nature can enhance the POSITIVE EFFECTS OF MINDFULNESS.
All the above aspects are a key elements of the MINDLIVEN project implemented under the ERASMUS + Program.
๐ฟโ๏ธ๐ฒSoon we will invite you to test the MindLiven platform with training on stress management at work, based on Mindfulness-Based Practices (MBP) and exposure to Natural Environments.

The ubiquitous stress is the curse of our times ๐. Strong nervous tension is a natural reaction to difficult situations. Unfortunately, if it lasts longer, it can have a destructive and devastating effect on the body.
There is a simple and effective way to reduce it - CONTACT WITH NATURE. ๐ดโ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ฑ๐พ It has long been known that the natural surroundings - a park, forest, sea or lake - have a positive effect on our well-being.
Soโ Take a deep breath, go for a walk in the park or forest. No matter where, it's important to stay close to nature. And promise yourself that you will do it more often in the New Year 2022. ๐ฟ
