Meet our marketing strategist
Patricia Daka is a multi-hyphenate creative and knowledgeable marketing executive with extensive experience in developing data-driven marketing campaigns and strategies. An out-of-the-box strategist with both regional and international experience which she uses to her advantage. She is currently the Group Digital & Head Of Marketing for at Sasai Fintech and is responsible for scaling this innovation across Sub Sahara Africa, covering payments, digital banking, e-commerce, social media, digital media, value-added services and more, through the Sasai SuperApp. In her tenure with Sasai Fintech, she has spearheaded multiple product launches across various markets which included the launches of Sasai value added services (Sasai Moments, Watch, Sasai Pay and Team Talk) and she was also part of the core team that focussed on growth-hacking through acquisition, engagement, retention, viral loops and experiments.
Patricia is passionate about changing and impacting lives through innovation and leveraging on technology.
Meet
Sharon is the Group General Counsel for the , an investment holding
company with operating entities in the financial services, hospitality, telecommunications,
energy and agribusiness sectors across various African countries. Prior to joining Masawara,
Sharon served as the Chief Operating Officer of a pan-African investment management and
advisory firm. She is a commercial lawyer by training and previously worked in leading
regional and international commercial law firms. She is also co-founder and director of a
branded apparel business. Sharon has a global outlook having studied, lived in and worked
in different countries which include South Africa, United Kingdom, Germany and the United
States.
She also sits on various boards across the corporate and not-for profit sectors.
Ollett Kuwanda is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience spanning across different sectors covering financial management, business development, accounting, business strategy, auditing, project management, taxation, risk management, governance and entrepreneurship. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (Associate) & a Registered Estate Administrator.
Ollett is currently the Head of Finance at . She is responsible for providing financial decision support & advisory across all
departments, executing on the company’s mission of redefining network, cloud and
cyber security offerings through strategic partnership with leading global players,
innovative business applications, intelligent cloud services & world-class security to the
African continent.

She has seen the success of her dance studio, Pineapple Creative Studio which was featured on & has since transitioned into fitness with her company, The Wellness Connection.
Her virtual program “No Excuses” has changed the lives of many women and men who have started & continued healthy & sustainable lifestyles through simple, challenging, yet attainable workout & nutrition goals.
Chengetayi has also made strides in social change with her initiative KwaChenge which allows people to come together and discuss social issues that affect them and champion for change.

Meet our panelist Jaqueline Hussein.
Jackie qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa, in 2009. She started her consulting practice while living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania the following year before relocating to her home country Zimbabwe.
She is also a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Financial Management from the University of South Africa. Prior to setting up the advisory services company, Jackie trained with Ernst & Young and worked for the firm for 7 years in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Before joining Ernst & Young, Jackie worked in Asset Management, Construction and Manufacturing industries over a 7-year period. Jackie sits on the boards of a micro finance institution in both Zimbabwe and Zambia as an independent non-executive director including a Zimbabwean listed quick service restaurant entity with a Pan African foot print. Jackie is the first woman in Zimbabwe to established and run a registered accounting practice.
In her professional work Jackie is involved in advisory, risk, taxation and accounting including financial reporting related services for a range of clients from listed to SMEs in recent years her organisation has diversified into technology. The organisation is involved in leveraging technology in simplifying business financial reporting and enterprise content management.
