Hello Abingdon Vineyards community. I would like to personally thank you for sticking by us for all these years. Trying to make sense of this world is never easy, and the cosmic curve balls we've been thrown over the past decade sometimes seem unreal. It is my hope that the wine that I make, along with all the team at Abingdon Vineyards, and this little slice of heaven down here on the river, help to enrich your life and make things seem a little bit brighter and definitely more delicious. JAX is our latest creation, as an Ode to my very own hunting partner, best friend, and sometimes petulant child. This dog is the best of the best and deserves all the praises, love and treats! Jackson has never shown an affinity to wine, but if he was to like wine, this one would be it. Please come down to the winery and buy a bottle or a case of this inaugural release. At only 96 cases this wine will probably only be available for a month and a half or so before we're sold out, so get yours today!

These are going to be the two most popular wines that we sell at the winery. Redhawk for a very smooth and those that like a sweeter fruitier wine, the JAX for those who like a bright, clean, dry Bordeaux style blend...

I bet he's not the first ever Vizsla on a wine label, but I'm pretty sure this is the best wine label with a dog on it that I've ever seen.... JAX sure deserves it!!

Needed a change!

Katy and I are "glamping" tonight but we didn't skimp on trying to fancy it up. Tonight's candlelit dinner was grilled Romaine Ceasar (with fresh dressing made the real way--the sardines in mustard sauce isn't as bad as it sounds) and crispy butter fried capers fresh shave parmesean, pan seared Atlantic salmon which turned out better than I could have imagined, roasted asparagus with same Ceasar dressing, and Smashed potatoes (these did not turn out as well as one would hope, but whatever...
