Your body is a temple, your own personal place of worship. At aalva, we believe what you put into your body matters. That’s why our products are free from toxins, bleaches, synthetics and dyes
Lemons are beautiful. Their brightness illuminates the most rainy of days. Their sour juice can be the most perfect addition to a recipe to harmonise the overall flavours.
1 year ago today I completed my final chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. 1 year later I’m channelling my journey to bring clean, sustainable and beautiful feminine care to women. We overcome many challenges as women. Our highest power of femininity shouldn’t be one of them. I’m continuing to learn and grow as a woman every day and explore what feminine care - care of my female body and mind - means for me.
What does feminine care mean for you?

Summer greetings from the cosy Swedish beach town of Falsterbo. 🇸🇪 We hope everyone is having a mindful summer break and getting the rest and recharge you need.

On International Women’s Day we would like to share our founder story on what it means to be a woman, a leader & a 2020 breast cancer survivor (though she prefers “thriver” with an impeccable wig!). We hope to inspire and impact many other women on this journey. Thank you for the Alma New Award 2020 & welcoming us as a member. • “A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink” 😉

Happy Monday! Meet our second Alma Award winner Marley Kaplan.
2020 brought Marley more challenges than just the pandemic. She was already living an active and plant-based lifestyle when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 32. This experience taught her that it takes more than green juice and pilates class to be in top shape.
“What we put in and on our bodies - from food to social media content to tampons - has an impact on our overall health. While there is a growing trend towards organic food, beauty products and clothing, feminine care has been overlooked. Most tampons and liners on the shelves today contain toxins that are being directly absorbed by our bodies month after month, year after year.”
This is why she founded aalva ( ), the first direct-to-consumer organic feminine care brand of its kind. Built on the Swedish principles of quality, sustainability and innovative design, aalva is created for women to have access to feminine care that truly cares for us.
“I created aalva to empower & enable a clean lifestyle for the modern woman by reinventing how feminine care is developed, consumed and perceived. Our aim is to encourage women to feel proud of their femininity in their own homes, at the office and other public spaces through conscious and sustainable design. Receiving the Alma New Award membership will mean I have access to a creative environment and supportive community to properly launch and grow aalva.”
We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with all of you! ✨🥰
