We lost Fils aime Friday night after he was shot in the back by some crooked cops in Haiti. My non profit has been sponsoring his family for about four years now. We met at a food program we were running at a school in his neighborhood. He asked me to help him go to school that year as his mom did not have the money. I felt prompted by God to help him and in two hours after meeting I met his mama and we took them down to his school to pay for his tuition and even took them to the tailor to get fitted for his uniform. He called me mom as a nickname and was a loving brother to his younger siblings. The details of his death are so gut wrenching and upsetting. Please pray for his mama and his siblings Jenny and Amos. Please also pray for peace in Haiti.
