💚FIX CRANKY HIPS!!😩🥵
The 90/90 stretch helps improve hip mobility which ultimately helps offload our back! 🙌
What I love most about the 90/90 stretch is that it targets several muscle groups!
It particularly helps improve our hip internal & external rotation which aren’t always the easiest to stretch! 👏
Advanced- the hip lift is a progression that you can try once you’ve achieved optimal form with the rotations. Checkout my story for more on how to achieve the lift!🙌
Note- the video is sped up 2.0x so you will want to perform this much slower & can hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds as well.

If you consume a lot of any of these foods, they could be sneaky accumulating calories you hadn’t thought out.
Cheese based on grated mozzarella.
Butter based on the little pre-portioned sachets.
Peanut butter - meridian.
Cereal - Special K (tbh 50g isn’t exactly a whopper serving)
*these are my conservative ‘realistic’ weights - yours may be spot on.

Just a friendly reminder that eating the right carbs are not the enemy.
There are 2 types of carbs. Simple & Complex carbs - know the difference. (Swipe right → for more). Carbohydrates are one of three essential macronutrients (protein and fats being the other two). They are primary source of energy to our body, especially the brain and the nervous system.
Carbohydrates are sugars that come in 2 main forms -simple and complex.
This is also referred to as simple sugars and starches. The difference between a simple and complex carb is in how quickly it is digested and absorbed - as well as its chemical structure.

Simple carbohydrates are also called simple sugars and are chemically made of one or two sugars. These carbohydrates primarily consist of sugars such as glucose, fructose, lactose, and sucrose. Refined and processed sugars provide calories, but lack minerals, vitamins, and fibre.
Simple carbohydrates are digested more quickly and raise blood glucose levels faster, leading to sugar spikes in the blood.
If you eat too much of simple carbohydrates you increase your risk of weight gain, lower your energy levels, and run the risk of health problems.

Complex carbs pack in more nutrients than simple carbs. They’re higher in fibre and digest more slowly. This also makes them more filling, which means they’re a good option for weight control.
They’re also ideal for people with type 2 diabetes because they help manage blood sugar spikes after meals.
The right kind of carbs can be incredibly good for you.
Not only are they necessary for your health, but they carry a variety of added benefits.
