Project Angel Care- Book Drive

Last Call for anyone who would like to donate to our book drive! These books will be given in a care package to children entering foster care. All the information to donate or make a personal purchase is in the the below post and on the Project Angel Care- Book Drive Page.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are raising money to buy children's books that can be distributed in care packages for children entering the foster care system in Kane County.

Ane Jashari (Ane's Angels) is putting together Angel Care Packages for children who are entering the foster care system with little to no personal belongings. Along with clothing and personal care items, I would love to be able to add a fun book or activity for these children as well. My company, Usborne Books & More, produces books for children of all ages and they will provide free books for the kids once this fundraiser meets a minimum amount. This will be a community-wide project that can benefit some local children in tough situations.

There are 2 ways that you can help us purchase these books.

1. You can make a donation for our DCFS contact to choose books that are appropriate for the children she is working with. I have created a PayPal donation fund and these donations will go directly to purchasing books for children entering foster care in Kane County

Hi! I'm Beth Kinane and I am the one working with Ane to get these books into the hands of some kids who could really use some love! I am a Hampshire resident (unincorporated, way out in the middle of nowhere😂) and I am an Independent Consultant with Usborne Books & More. When I saw that Ane was collecting items for these care packages I knew I needed to contact her right away about working with her and the community to add some books and activities so that the children can find some peace in a very difficult time.
