CANDLE FACTS:
~ The size of your candle should match the size of your room!
Our small candles would be suitable for a small room like a bedroom or toilet ect.
Medium would best suit a lounge room ect.
Large candles would best suit an open plan living/kitchen area or the larger rooms around your home or work area ect.
~ Soy wax has memory! To elaborate on this, when you light your candle for the first time, it is best to allow your candle to burn until the wax melts to the edges, we tell you this because if you put your candle out before it reaches the edges the wax will remember that and when you light it again the chances of your wax only melting to that exact spot are high.
~ There is something called ‘tunneling’.
Tunneling is when your candle burns down the wick and leaves a ring of hard wax on the outer edges. This can be fixed!
To fix this you have to light your candle and place some foil over the top of the candle covering the whole thing but you need to make sure you are making a hole in the middle of the foil, this encourages the hard wax to melt evenly. You need to ensure you burn your candle for several hours with the foil to ensure the top layer of the candle is all liquid.
