This definitely looks more cloudy in the digital version than real life. I didn't even make clouds, yet here they are. I may end up changing the sky to a white/blue anyway 🤔 Can't decide. Let me know if you think I should.

Meadow Hot Springs
Made this oil painting for my hubby for his birthday yesterday. This is a place he always loves to stop and swim at on our way anywhere south of where we live. Been going there since we were tennagers 🙂

So, I wasn't going apply to do any shows or boutiques any time soon...but...my hometown Santaquin is having their very first Art Festival this Saturday and there were still open art vendor spots. So, I got one 😁 If you're around Centennial Park come chat because I have to actually be in my booth this time 😅

I found out about cold wax recently thanks to social media and bought some to try. That stuff is So cool! I can't wait to go get some gessoed boards and try it on those!

Just realized I never posted how this painting turned out since I kept changing it. It has a southern Utah mountain range in the back and Utah county inspired fields in the front.
