About the Author
The story âDaughter of the Wrath of the Sunâ was first written as a short novel. It had 18 chapters and each chapter was about 10 pages. I thought about getting it published but then I realized that Iâm not that good at writing.
I felt like writing wasnât the best way to tell the story, at least not in my hands. I wanted to turn it into a comic book but I couldnât draw either. I tried to draw the characters but my art was so bad it would have been distracting to the reader.
I struggled with how to share my story until I realized I could knit and crochet the characters. It was the only visual talent I had. I immediately got to work designing the characters. It took me two months to create the characters and the set for chapter 1. The 4 main characters went through a lot of changes because I wanted them to look as perfect as possible. The sets and furniture took a while to cut, glue, and paint. When I was finally ready to take the pictures for chapter 1 I knew I had made something amazing.
Making this comic book has been the most fun in the world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
