After spending over 20 years as a high school English teacher, his new season in life is mapped out
Hello family and friends. Just wanted to let you know that the editing process is still ongoing (being a perfectionist doesn't help) and of course the most time consuming aspect of practically any writing. As the story is being "fine-tuned", I'm learning how to navigate the enormous changes in the traditional publishing world that have come over the last 10 years - a lot has changed and that task alone of course adds to the entire process. Lastly, just like the rest of you, life is a rollercoaster from day to day but overall God gets me through them all! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
God is great!
I hope all is well with everyone, and if it's not then I pray that the Lord would give you the desires of your heart according to His perfect plans.
Book 1 is in the hands of the awesome Beta Readers in my life, and then it's off to an agent. I've "fine-tuned" the story for quite a while, and the Lord keeps reminding me to "Not be anxious for anything..." (Philippians 4:6). What a fun journey it is.
This morning I looked above my work-space in my office and forgot about the framed artwork depicting an armed soldier kneeling on the ground, being protected by an angel. The image has been there for years, but I forgot about the scripture verse included with the artwork - Psalm 91. I highly encourage you to check out what God blessed me with in revisiting His Word in this passage that fits perfectly for the current "crazy" times.
Have a blessed day

Happy New Year!
Hey! I'd like to post opinion polls once in a while just to see how you might feel about certain topics or simple statements. All you have to do is react with one of the 3 reaction emojis below. It won't hurt my feelings if you just click on "Like".
Let's start with this statement: "Angels are real"
Thanks, and have a blessed day!
