Happy coronation day! Nursery have had so much celebrating King Charles III coronation and created some lovely artwork for him. π€΄ππ¬π§

We have been exploring sunflowers and how they grow. We even planted our own! π»βοΈ
Spring is on its way! Nursery has created some beautiful daffodil paintings to celebrate the start of springtime. πΌ
Year One had great fun in PE this week learning different types of gymnastic jumps!
The Nursery children decided to set up a secret camera and put some special dinosaur food outside. Look who came to Langtons last night! π¦π―
Something exciting has happened in nursery! We discovered a real dinosaur egg and it hatched. The nursery children have been discussing what it could look like and where is may have come from. π¦π¦

βItβs beginning to look at lot like Christmasβ πΆ Nursery have really enjoyed taking part in some Christmas activities and decorating out classroom. ππ
This half term nursery have been learning about space. The children have taken part in lots of activities including making rockets with shapes. We even travelled to the moon in our very own space rocket in the classroom! ππͺπππ©βπ

Thank you to our school councillors who were selling the Pudsey biscuits at break time! We loved them!
Year one have been exploring old toys, describing them and discussing the materials they were made out of.
Nursery enjoyed celebrating Rememberance day. We made lots of Poppies and took part in a two minute silence to remember the fallen soldiers. πͺπ¬π§
This week year one have been learning about measurements. We had a go at a range of ways to measure lengths, heights and withs of objects and distances.
Nursery have been having so much halloween fun. We took part in lots of spooky activities. π
In reception we have enjoyed painting pumpkins and making puppets to tell our story of βHow to catch a starβ
Nursery has had a wonderful week celebrating Diwali. We took part in lots of colourful activities including; Decorating diva lamps, writing Diwali cards, using glitter and rice to create rangoli patterns. π―π
Year One had a great time at Langtons Park this week. We explored the woods, searched for bugs, classified some leaves and even fed the ducks!
In reception we have painted our self portraits and made play dough faces.
Today Nursery started learning about Diwali, we made our very own diva lamps, wrote cards to our friends and created beautiful rangoli patterns using chalks. π―π
This week year one are learning about senses. On Monday we went for a walk around our school and wrote down what we could see using the sense of sight ππ
Reception enjoyed playing with the sand and diggers in our outside area.
At Nursery we have been learning about Autumn. We have learnt about the weather changing and created some lovely paintings using real leaves! We have also learnt about some of the nocturnal animals that come out at night time, like these spikey hedgehogs we made out of clay and pasta. π¦π
In reception we have been doing lots of counting by singing songs.
We have been learning βWhat is special about me?β. At Nursery we made some delicious smiley face pizzas and created self portraits on paper plates as well as making mini meβs in our school uniform. π
