Did you know that there are 3 different types of bees in a honeybee colony? In a healthy summer hive, there will be 1 Queen bee, a few hundred male drones and about 50,000 female worker bees.

Fun Fact - Drones cannot sting you and they are bigger than worker bees. Worker bees are female.
