Happy World Mental Health Day from the Rotaract Club of Felicity Charlieville!
On this World Mental Health Day, let us come together to raise awareness about the importance of mental health. In Trinidad and Tobago, where the strength of our community is built on unity, resilience, and support, itβs essential that we continue to prioritize mental wellness. Letβs remember that mental health is just as important as physical health, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Together, we can create a compassionate environment where everyone feels empowered to take care of their mental well-being. Let's break the stigma, offer support, and uplift each other in our journey toward better mental health.
Join our Virtual Session on Saturday at 3 PM talking about this year's theme "Mental Health at Work" as well as at school, especially in light of recent events, as bullying, examination pressure and many other factors affect the mental health of students. See the link in our bio to register.
Take care of yourselves, remember mental health matters. π
World Mental Health Day is approaching! Register to join us this year on October 12th as we discuss mental health in the workplace and in school!
Animal Welfare, for those above land and under is of our utmost priority. Whether it be our pets at home or in shelters, in the wild or under the sea our duty to protect these animals and our environment go hand in hand.

This month's is none other than our Rotaractor of the Year! Mr. Kevan Sinanan joined the club in 2022, has since, served as Director of Professional Development and is now Committee Chairperson.
Over the years, he has honed his skills as a Real Estate Agent, giving presentations to the club on the logistics of real estate in Trinidad as well as presenting to youth at our vocational pathways day on the process of homeownership.
Reliably, Kevan has been our go to musical performance, tech support and videographer since joining the club, we hope to see his innovation shine through for many years to come. πͺπΎ

World Environment Day 2024 - "Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience." This year's theme is tied in with bringing back healthy land, keeping desserts from developing, and managing water shortages. Trees, healthy soil, and clean water are imperative for a solid planet.Β
In Trinidad and Tobago, we have faced challenges of this nature, especially regarding water shortages during drought. In the coming months, our Green Wave Project intends to share with you how to manage our personal Environmental Impact as well as in our community.
