So….please forgive my wee moment of glory but this is the most exciting writing thing to happen to me for months. Over 1500 entries to this awesome Jericho Writers competition and - apparently- I made the shortlist of 16 for my new crime thriller series starter work in progress, Keep Me Safe. Thank you so much for the recognition and huge congratulations to the other shortlisted authors! Now to get it out in the world!!

Got my first official book reviewer rating from Karen at BookSprout!

"This is not the type of book that I usually read, but the author's blurb caught my attention. And she's gained a fan.
I can't say too much about the story without giving away the plot. The book is amazing, scary, disturbing. Remember, true friends never give up on you. "

Thanks Karen, you've made my week!

Why We All Get Hooked on a Moral Dilemma - Allison Meldrum 17/04/2023

Why do we all love a moral dilemma? Here's what I think. Do you agree?

Why We All Get Hooked on a Moral Dilemma - Allison Meldrum The moral dilemma faced by Ava within the pages of The Life I Owe Her is, arguably, a bit ‘darker’ – What if you’re compelled to repay the best friend who saved your life, but the only thing she needs is one of your children?

Why I'll Never See Books In The Same Light Again - Allison Meldrum I have barely dipped my toe into the shallows but already learned just how much goes in to getting your first book 'out there'.

Thrilled to see the latest book from the hugely talented Emma Cooper land in my e-library today. So proud to have benefited from Emma's magical mentoring skills!!

**ONE DAY TO GO!!!** As you can see, I'm a liiiiiittle bit excited about the ebook and audio release tomorrow!!

It Was Always You begins on the night the clocks go back in 1999. It's filled with noughties nostalgia, and three characters who occupied my thoughts and heart for a year.

My books are always character led and this one in no exception, but I have to say, I don't think I've ever felt as big of a connection as I have for these three.

Ella - my leading lady who never quite feels good enough; Will - gorgeous but haunted by his brother's death and Cole ... beautiful mischievous and damaged Cole.

I can’t wait for you to follow Ella’s story, who may have the chance to go back and talk to her teenage self.

If YOU could say to something to your teenage self what would YOU say?
