Participants who attend all three parts of the series will be eligible to attend the fourth private workshop on "Goals and Treatment Objectives for Pediatric Dysphagia". Where we will discuss detailed long-term and short-term goals for the different types of pediatric dysphagia.

We would like to thank our presenter, Helen Kinigopoulos , for her generous contribution in our last workshop titled: "Global Approaches and Considerations for Feeding of Vulnerable Infants and Children" that was offered with Arabic and French interpretation.
Ms. Kinigopoulos is a leading clinician with extensive experience in feeding disorders. She shared her expertise in two informative sessions that paved the way for our next workshop series.

3) coordinating and collaborating with other health professionals and health-care workers to optimize safe and adequate nutrition.

We would like to thank Dr. Nour El-Bash*ti and the participants who joined our most recent discussion forum (Motor Speech Disorders).
The forum was designed to discuss actual cases of motor speech disorders of different etiologies. Over two three-hour sessions, all eight participants from Jordan, Syria, Palestine, KSA and Morocco successfully presented their cases and contributed valuable input to the discussion, and displayed balanced well defended point of views.
After the discussion, each participant applied the presented diagnostic method retrospectively on their cases to build an appropriate hierarchy of treatment goals.
Topics that were covered included:
1. Understanding different types of motor speech disorders and means to differentiate them
2. Understanding the different types of cerebral palsy and how to create appropriate intervention goals of each type.
3. Presentation of a step by step systematic method for differential diagnosis of dysarthrias.
4. Discussion of how to build correlations between lesion localization, neuromuscular deficits, dysphagia related symptoms and speech related symptoms.
5. Drafting treatment goals for each specific case discussed.
