Almost 30% of Trans & Gender Diverse people are denied shelter due to their gender identity.

One in five transgender people in the United States has been discriminated when seeking a home

More than one in ten have been evicted from their homes, because of their gender identity.

The impact of housing discrimination for Trans and gender diverse people of color are often compounded due to race, disability status and socioeconomic class.

Currently there are NO safe options for shelter for trans and gender diverse people in Seattle and even fewer safe options for those who are BIPOC.

Trans Women of Color Solidarity Network seeks to provide transitional housing and healthcare access support to BIPOC trans folks with House of Constance.
