AND GOD GAVE SOLOMON WISDOM AND EXCEEDINGLY
GREAT UNDERSTANDING, AND LARGENESS OF HEART
LIKE THE SAND ON THE SEASHORE. AND MEN OF ALL
NATIONS, FROM ALL THE KINGS OF THE EARTH WHO
HAD HEARD OF HIS WISDOM, CAME TO HEAR THE
WISDOM OF SOLOMON.

King Solomon, the tenth son of David,
and second son of Bathseba was considered to
be the smartest man of his times.

His wisdom is still with us today, and may be
found in the Books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes &
Song of Solomon. Today let us look at some of
the words that God gave to Solomon to write in
the Book of Proverbs. For they contain wisdom
and comfort for the Children of God! This is
because; EVERY WORD OF GOD IS PURE; HE IS
A SHIELD TO THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST
IN HIM. ( PROV 30:5 )

HE STORES UP SOUND WISDOM FOR THE
UPRIGHT; HE IS A SHIELD TO THOSE WHO
WALK UPRIGHTLY. ( PROV 2:7 )

IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND
HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS. ( PROV 3:6 )
I LOVE THOSE WHO LOVE ME, AND THOSE
WHO SEEK ME DILIGENTLY WILL FIND ME.
(PROV 8:17)

HATRED STIRS UP STRIFE, BUT LOVE COVERS
ALL SINS. ( PROV 10:12 )

THE RIGHTEOUS IS DELIVERED FROM TROUBLE,
AND IT COMES TO THE WICKED INSTEAD.

PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A
HAUGHTY SPIRIT BEFORE A FALL.

THE SILVER-HAIRED HEAD IS A CROWN OF

THE SPIRIT OF A MAN IS THE LAMP OF THE
LORD, SEARCHING ALL THE INNER DEPTHS
OF HIS HEART. ( PROV 20:27 )

Now, these are just a few for HE SPOKE THREE
THOUSAND PROVERBS, AND HIS SONGS WERE
ONE THOUSAND AND FIVE. ( 1 KINGS 4:32 )

AND NOW ABIDE FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, THESE THREE;
BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.

Why is love the greatest? Because "GOD IS LOVE"
( 1 JOHN 4:8 )

Our Heavenly Father fills us with HIS pure
love, and HE wants us to share that great love with one
another.

For it is written, A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE
TO YOU, THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER; AS I
HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YOU ALSO LOVE ONE
ANOTHER. BY THIS ALL WILL KNOW THAT YOU
ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ONE
ANOTHER. ( JOHN 13:34-35 )

Now we may show our love for others by performing
simple acts of kindness, such as stopping to help a
person in need. Also by just smiling at a stranger and
saying hello, or by taking the time to listen to others and
offering them support. In addition by cheering someone
up when they are feeling low, and the list goes on and on
and on.

Now when you think about it, these simple acts of
kindness may seem like nothing to us, but they may
very well make another's day! So, let God's
pure love shine through you. It may very well light a
pathway for someone who is lost in the darkness of
this World!

Now that Spring is here, and Summer approaches,
we are surrounded with beauty indeed! Soon we will be
surrounded; WITH BEAUTIFUL LEAVES AND ABUNDANT
FRUIT, PROVIDING FOOD FOR ALL, GIVING SHELTER
TO THE BEASTS OF THE FIELD, AND HAVING NESTING
PLACES IN ITS BRANCHES FOR THE BIRDS OF THE AIR.

So why not take a little time this week to enjoy the
beauty God has created for this time of year. For soon
the flowers will appear, and the Countryside will be filled with
colors of every shade. When that happens remember to
thank God for His beautiful creation called "Spring." Also:

Thank God for flowers of every hue
From baby-pink roses to plumbago blue.
The fragrance of jasmine enhances the night,
And each water lily is a pearly delight.

Magnolias by moonlight brings sweet memories
As springtime awakens the blossoming trees.
The common hibiscus brings uncommon joy,
And shy violets are bashful and coy.

Long-stemmed red roses are reasons to sing,
And the frost-covered crocus usher in Spring.
Lavender orchids decorate the prom,
And pastel carnations pay tribute to Mom.

Flowers bring comfort to pauper and king,
For one cannot measure the pleasure they bring,

Even in today's World, there is no reason to be fearful of the future with God by your side! For; God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" ( Hebrews 13:5-6 )

After all what is fear but the opposite of faith! Therefore fear is a tool that satan uses to undermine our faith in God. For, Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. ( Hebrews 11:6 ) Therefore God has said; The just shall live by faith. ( Hebrews 10:37 )

So Facebook, do not be fearful of the future, or terrorists, or anything else. Instead keep your faith strong for; Then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Amen ( Psalms 91:10-11 )

We often fall into the trap of being so busy that we
become caught up in this World of ours today. We
even seem to forget that we are only on this Earth for a
short time. Now it is written, WHAT IS YOUR LIFE? YOU
ARE A MIST THAT APPEARS FOR A LITTLE WHILE
AND THEN VANISHES. ( JAMES 4:14 )
Therefore our Savior Jesus Christ warned us about
this when He said; WHAT GOOD IS IT FOR A MEN TO
GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, AND YET LOSE OR
FORFEIT HIS VERY SELF? ( LUKE 9:25 )
So, always remember to keep God number one
in your heart, for after all Eternity is a very, very, long
time indeed.
I received the poem below from a dear friend. It seems
perfect to end this message with that poem today!
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,

No time to give to souls in need

AT THAT TIME THE DISCIPLES CAME TO JESUS AND ASKED, “WHO IS THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN?" HE CALLED A LITTLE CHILD AND HAD HIM STAND AMONG THEM. AND HE SAID: "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, UNLESS YOU
CHANGE AND BECOME LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN, YOU WILL NEVER ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. THEREFORE, WHOEVER HUMBLES HIMSELF LIKE THIS CHILD IS THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

Jesus used a small child to help Him make a
point with His Disciples, and to us as well!. The point was not to be childish, but rather childlike, with humble and sincere hearts!

When we think of it, a little child is humble and also has a pure heart! Further they are innocent of the evils of the World, and trusting! For a child trusts whatever a parent tells them. They have no preconceived ideas in their mind, and are excited to learn all that they can with honest curiosity.

When we apply that to ourselves, it means that we must also be humble, and trust God with all our heart and place all of our faith in Him. We must also have the desire to learn His precious Word as well, believing it without preconceived ideas of our own. For it is written; TRUST THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN
UNDERSTANDING. ( PROVERBS 3:5 )

For then you will; GROW IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. TO HIM BE GLORY BOTH NOW AND FOREVER! AMEN.
( 2 PETER 3:18 )

ASK AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU; SEEK, AND YOU
WILL FIND; KNOCK, AND IT WILL BE OPENED TO YOU.
( LUKE 11:9-10 *NKJV )

Those are the words of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Jesus also said, "IF YOU ABIDE IN ME, AND MY WORDS
ABIDE IN YOU, YOU WILL ASK WHAT YOU DESIRE,
AND IT SHALL BE DONE FOR YOU."
( JOHN 15:7 )

Now these verses do not mean that everything we
may ask for will be given to us, but do mean that if it
God's Will for us it will happen! After all we may ask
is for something that would hurt us in the end, for we
have no way of knowing the future.

So when you pray do not be afraid to ask God for
something that you desire, knowing that He who knows
all is looking out for you. For God has said; THEN YOU WILL
CALL UPON ME AND GO AND PRAY TO ME, AND
I WILL LISTEN TO YOU. AND YOU WILL SEEK ME
AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH
ALL YOUR HEART. ( JEREMIAH 29:12-13 )

Also do not think that God has abandoned you if a
prayer isn't answered. After all, in time, you may look
back on that prayer request and say "Thank God, He
Didn't Answer That One!"

Therefore, never lose hope when you pray.
For it is written, THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS PERSON
IS POWEREFUL AND EFFECTIVE. ( JAMES 5:16 )
So; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN ALL
CIRCUMSTANCES; FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR
YOU IN CHRIST JESUS. Amen.

LUNCH WITH GOD

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Tw***ies and a six pack of root beer and he started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons.

The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Tw***ie.

She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted.

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Tw***ies in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally!

Therefore Send this to people who have touched your life in a special way. Let them know how important they are. Then why not have lunch with God yourself?
