Purchased a Van for the Band
Made some great friends along the way
Made an only fans and got my pictures leaked

And I couldn’t be happier.

What next?

These next 12 months are gonna be pretty bonkers. But I think another post will need to explain that.
But I hope world domination is somewhere on the cards.

This is the first time I have ever done any of my songs in a raw acoustic form, and what a cool experience it turned out to be.

We are excited to say we are filming our music video in July with for our upcoming new single.

We are looking for a lead female actor for both filming dates (9th and 10th of July, Cardiff City Centre)

And we are also looking for extras for a scene, from 4pm onwards on the 9th of July. (Cardiff City Centre)

⚠️Get to know SEBAS⚠️

Hello, my name is Sebastian Jones aka SEBAS.

It’s strange writing this post as all the other “Get to know SEBAS” posts have been in third person and I have been writing about my fellow band mates, so it feels weird writing about myself… but we will give it a go.

So I’m currently 20 years old, and my musical journey so far has been one I will always be great full for.

I started learning guitar when I was in year 8, but I started getting into rock music when i was much younger, I remember my dad used to have albums upon albums that I would take and listen too ranging from Lenny Kravitz to Led Zeppelin. When I was about 14, I saw a video of Muse playing live and it really inspired me, so from there onwards I knew I wanted to be in a band and that’s exactly what I did.

I have been in and out of bands and projects for the past few years but I was tired of things falling through so that’s why I made SEBAS, this way the only person who could let me down would be myself. So far it’s been amazing… how lucky was I to get the band mates and support that I have now, and the best part is it’s only just the beginning… SO I’m very excited for the future with you all!

When it comes to musical taste I will literally listen to anything as long as it sounds big, and groovy and I vibe with it. I am lucky enough to see many great acts with my job and so I get to hear and surround myself with music all the time.

But I do some bands I have some that I take influences from, such as:

ROYAL BLOOD
ARCTIC MONKEYS
THE FOOFIGHTERS
NOTHING BUT THIEVES
COLDPLAY
DEMOB HAPPY
BLACK MIDI
RADIOHEAD
The list goes on and on.

I don’t want to bore you with my life story but what I will say is, Im really excited to share what we have coming with you all, and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has supported us so far.

This was the last time we played our old set, in the coming weeks we will be rehearsing a new and improved set for you guys to watch. It’s always good to keep things fresh, so we are adding some new original songs to the set!!

We can’t quite remember who took these photos as quite a few people sent them in and they have all been jumbled up. But we would like to thank everyone that took photos or videos for sending them to us, next time we will try and sort out a system that allows to identify who took the photos, it’s just been a very hectic week, next time we will be more prepared.

⚠️Get to know SEBAS⚠️

It is week two of introducing the band/players behind SEBAS.

Today we introduce Mr. Alex Harries.

When you get past the dashing looks you will meet a well seasoned guitarist who has been playing guitar for over 8 years.

His talent and expertise are something we are all thankful of. He can make anything we give to him sound super sweet, but mainly we are happy that Alex is in SEBAS because he’s such a great laugh and great mate!

Here are some facts about Alex:

He loves reading, mostly classic literature and philosophy stuff. He also enjoys a good old pint and good night out on the drink - He will drink anything. He is also very interested in fashion, he always looks dapper!

Some of his biggest musical influences include:

Sonic Youth
Pixies
Elliott Smith
Radiohead

He primarily plays guitars but he also likes to play the occassional every now and again.

⚠️Throwback to when SEBAS first started⚠️

Yes that’s right nothing too fancy, just an 18 year old Sebastian Jones in his room recording a song over the 1st lockdown… that’s where it all began.

And to be honest, we are still only just beginning, but we are very excited and optimistic for the journey ahead.

Thank you to everyone that supports SEBAS, from streaming our music to turning up to watch us play, it all helps so much and we thank you and love you all 🖤

Fun Fact: ‘Run so Fast’ was written in the first 2020 covid lockdown. Recorded in Seb’s bedroom at his parents house with only a guitar, amplifier , Microphone, DAW and some drum samples.

During the next coming weeks we will be starting to introduce the band members…

This week we start with Mr. Benjamin Johnson aka Ben.

Ben is our bass player, he loves making SEBAS sound big and beefy with his thicc and fat bass tones.

He loves listening to and writing instrumental music.

He is the brains when it comes to knowing what pedals and equipment we should use to get the right sounds, and by that I mean the sounds that make people pull the *phwoarrr* face.

Ben is also a great chef, he loves cooking. If you’re ever fortunate enough to have him cook for you then you are in for a good meal.

He is a legend and I am so happy to have him in this band, I know all of us couldn’t ask for a better bass player and mate.
