I’ve received a ton of “no’s” over the last few years that had me thinking I should let it go. But I finally got my “yes!” I’m so excited to serve as one of three Hosts of the Live Shopping Experience! Getting to be part of the organization is pretty dope, especially being a Pittsburgher (you know we don’t play about the 🖤💛). But getting to shop and help others shop is whew, a dream come true lol🤣! I tend to self reflect A-LOT and I started beating myself up about a few things this week. Being inconsistent with things I claim to want, super defensive with people I love, and then I stopped. I realized that the only solution was to change it and that was the best way to apologize to myself.

Dwelling on things does nothing but keep you stuck! Just a friendly reminder to give yourself grace, but hold yourself accountable by changing the behaviors that hold you back from being your best self!💪🏽

I’ve been very inconsistent recently and I think it’s okay to be honest about why. I am at a place where I am ready to be open about my dissatisfaction with where I am with life. I’m blessed in so many ways, please don’t think I fail to recognize this. But career wise, I do not believe I am in alignment with my God given calling.

I’ve spoken with a few people recently and realized I’m not the only one. Maybe you too are working a job, but feeling like there’s more. Maybe you are stuck in a cycle of unhealthy work places and feeling stifled. Maybe your daily work is working for someone else’s dream more than you are working towards your own. Maybe you thought you wanted to do something and realize it’s not what you enjoy. Maybe you feel like you’ve failed if you have admit all of the above. Let me tell you it’s real!

Not everyone gets it right the first go round or falls into their dream job. I’m learning to be open to shifting, to exploring your options, to prioritizing your passions, and breaking the patterns that have kept you stuck.
