Sometimes you and your business partner seem like total opposites and grate on each other’s nerves. But you both possess a skill set and strength that can benefit each other.

Are you and your partner keeping your minds sharp? Obviously reading is the best, but you’re not always in the mood for reading. Checking out on Netflix is a guilty pleasure. But finding hobbies that keep your mental acuity high is better. What’s your high quality hobby?

This was my first paying PPF job. I literally had nightmares. My point is, you gotta start somewhere with whatever your venture is. Yes, you will feel like an imposter. But before you know it you will surprise yourself. Stay committed. Support your partner when they need it and let them know when you need support. You teamed up for a reason. Don’t be afraid to ask for help (even if you HATE asking for help like me 😝)

Detailing business with a partner makes it a team effort. Alex polished. @adair_agustin installed the coating and I @thelegofamily installed PPF. Alex treated the customer like a rockstar and I took a million billion pictures and videos to post. It makes jobs really smooth when you define each persons responsibilities.

Know when to call it quits for the day. I know other guys are bragging about how they’re grinding away to the wee hours of the night. But really? That’s just insanity. How often have you experienced less is more? Even if it means you quit at a sane hour and come back early and refreshed to tackle that hard job. Remember YOU are your most valuable tool. Don’t abuse yourself.

Are you and your partner on the right track? How would you know if you are? Let’s start with your numbers. Are you setting goals/monthly targets? Or are you just taking what’s falling in your lap. Having a number goals helps your brain accomplish it. You are focused in on where you need to be going. Having a mentor who could see our potential helped us to reach higher than we thought was possible for us. And we keep reaching, because we’ve only just began. Let’s do this!!

Name 3 things you appreciated about your business partner. GO…now go tell them or write it down. If you did it notice how you feel better about them and yourself. (Funny how that works). What you focus on you get more of 😉

What you good at? Like really good at? Alex can schmooze and describe a finished detail like it’s a fine piece of art. I like to take picture and post. So we both okay to our strengths and it makes for a stronger business, online prescribes and customer experience. What’s your strength??

If you don’t ask you won’t receive. Ask your partner for what you’d like. Don’t just state complaints. Ask for what you want. We asked this customer for a testimonial and he complied. The dude is on point. And he said the week prior he was in training with some overseas coworkers who wanted him to record a testimonial and he refused. So ASK. Don’t just sit around wishing for what you want.
