You may be wondering why I posted this photo of the food I made today. By the way, it was delicious! ⁣

Well the reason I did it was because the art of cooking is like the art of building a business, a legacy, a team, people, etc….⁣

When you start to learn how to cook you have so many failures when making a dish. Sometimes it is very salty or has no salt at all. Spices are not enough. Maybe you burn the food, etc…⁣

But the more you practice, the better you'll get to the point where you don't have to measure ingredients because you know exactly how much you need to put in. ⁣
⁣
Well, Building a business, legacy, team, people, etc… is exactly the same process. You will fail many times. But if you don't give up, you will be an expert to the point of knowing your craft very well.⁣

So, the whole point of this post with the food I made is that:⁣

Teaching this values to my son from the early ages is going to help him in the future!

People think that being different is weird. Different is good. When someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up and be proud. By being yourself you put something wonderful in the world that was not there before.⁣

Being different means you’re irreplaceable! No one is you and that is your power. No one can replace you because no one is YOU.⁣

Too often people here “be a giver” and think of charities and writing checks, of “giving back” once we have already done well for ourselves. ⁣
⁣
But that’s only one very specific facet of giving. By “be a giver”, mean be a giving person, period: one who gives thought, give attention, gives care, gives time and energy-gives value to others. ⁣
⁣
Not as a quid pro quo, not as a strategy to get ahead, but because it is, in and itself, a satisfying and fulfilling way to be. ⁣
