The trophy is coming back home after a 5 year curse.

ULAB Cricket Team (Cricket ULAB) beat hosts in the finals of the NSU Sports Carnival by 72 runs this morning.

Congratulations to the whole squad and the supporting staff who was a part of the team.

ULAB Cricket Team has paved their way into the semi-finals of the NSU Sports Carnival.

The boys displayed a great deal of team effort beating BUBT by 22 runs in the previous match and shall be facing Sonargaon University tomorrow in the semi-finals.

The match will be broadcasted live on T sports' Youtube Channel at 11 am.

Here's wishing them the best of luck for their match tomorrow.

While this Sports Carnival arranged by North South University Athletics Club may not have brought us any mentionable victories, being able to attend this amazing tournament has been a victory in itself for ULAB Basketball and thus, we'd like to thank NSU Athletics Club for being amazing hosts.

We initially struggled due to get permission to play and once we did, the next big issue was to find enough girls. Once we had enough players for both teams, we had to learn the whole sport from scratch by mostly ourselves with occasional help from people who made time for us regardless of having other commitments in their busy schedules (Like Saadi Bhaiya, Shayonto Bhaiya, Nicholas).

6 years of waiting for an opportunity, 6 months of learning and re-learning everything about a game that most of us had never even played before has been a tough journey without a proper coach. However, we couldn't have achieved the opportunity to attend a tournament without the help of the ULAB Co-Curricular Office, the ULAB Indoor Games Club & Taufiq sir.

Yes, we may have let down the hopes of many but someone once said, "participating is sometimes more important than winning, it teaches you how to be a better winner next time", and the famous ex-basketball player Kobe Bryant said, "Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success".

And thus, we believe that next time, we will do better and make ULAB proud.

But for now, ULAB EAGLES (BATCH 1) signing out of our first ever tournament.

To us Eagles, this is home ❤️

This place helped us dream those dreams that once seemed impossible.

ULAB Eagles Soar to Victory Against Brac University Basketball team .

Despite gloomy skies and pouring rain, the BRAC University Basketball team brought a ray of light to ULAB's outdoor court. In a highly anticipated match, the ULAB Eagles emerged victorious.

The men's game was a thrilling battle, with ULAB securing their win as a team, triumphing 19-15 over BRAC. Both sides displayed impressive skills, but ULAB's fresh approach proved decisive against BRAC's experienced lineup.

In the women's 3x3 match, ULAB hosted their first-ever visiting female sports team. The nail-biting contest ended in a narrow victory for the ULAB Eagles. With the game tied 5-5 till last minute. Neha Shamim stepped up and delivered a decisive free throw, securing a 6-5 win for ULAB.

ULAB Eagles celebrated their milestone day with gratitude for BRAC's sportsmanship and friendship, envisioning future collaboration. Congratulations to the Eagles for their remarkable victories, and best wishes to BRAC University in their sporting endeavors.
