John Daniel Caine is a United States Air Force lieutenant general who has served as the associate director for military affairs of the Central Intelligence Agency since November 3, 2021.

From April 26 - May 7, three aircraft and crews from Charlie company, 3-501st took part in the Guardian Response Exercise in Indiana. The crews flew over 108 hours over the span of 31 missions and transported over 70,000 pounds of personnel and equipment. Earlier today, Feb. 22, 2024, U.S. Army Col. Astronaut Frank Rubio was presented with one of the rarest badges a Soldier can earn, the Army Astronaut Device, during a pinning ceremony at the Pentagon Press Briefing Room by the Secretary of the Army, Hon. Christine Wormuth.
Rubio returned to Earth Sept. 27, 2023, after spending 371 days on the International Space Station National Laboratory, setting the record for the longest space flight for an American astronaut.
