Tonight we had our annual volunteer dinner at the Elks Lodge #2708 - Deptford, NJ. We would also like to thank Gaetanos Brooklawn for the outstanding food.

We honored our Brian Kennedy Jr. Junior Umpire of the Year, Nick. Long-time volunteer Bob Arnoldy was named the Dan Finocchi Volunteer of the Year for his many years of service as announcer and DJ among other responsibilities.

Thank you to all the leagues for a successful season!

NJ Section 4 - 9/10 Baseball Final. Haddonfield 7; Harrison Twp 6. Haddonfield advances to the NJ State Finals in Livingston starting July 25th. Gibbstown Little League did an outstanding job hosting the tournament and we cannot thank them enough. The playing condition of the field was outstanding thanks to the field crew pictured here.

NJ District 15 plays host to one more tournament - starting this weekend at Deptford Little League for the State Finals for Junior League Baseball (13/14 year olds). Hillsdale, Nutley East, Tom's River East and Haddon Heights will square off with the winner advancing to the East Region Tournament in DuBois PA. Thank you to all of the volunteers that make this possible.

NJ Section 4 - 9/10 Baseball @ Gibbstown Little League. Elimination Bracket Final - Harrison 15; Linwood/Somers Point 14. Final is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. - Haddonfield v Harrison Twp. Winner advances to the NJ State Tournament.

Game 2 tonight - NJ Section 4 Elimination Game - Erial v Harrison Twp. At Gibbstown Little League.

That's a wrap for NJ District 15 Tournaments this season. The District staff will be supporting our leagues that are hosting State and Section Tournaments the next 3 weeks to finish out the tournament season. Here are the tournaments on deck:

7/12 at Harrison Little League - NJ State Finals - Little League Softball - winner advances to the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament in Bristol, CT. NJ District 15 and Section 4 Champion Pitman opens play on 7/12 at 8 p.m. against Toms River.

7/15 at Gibbstown Little League - NJ Section 4 - 9/10 Baseball - winner advances to NJ State Finals in Livingston, NJ. District 15 Champion Harrison Twp. opens play on 7/16 at 5 p.m. against a team TBD.

7/23 at Deptford Little League - State Finals - Junior League Baseball - winner advances to the Eastern Regional in DuBois PA. District 15 Champion Swedesboro/Woolwich opens play in the NJ Section 4 tournament in Elmer on 7/13 against the District 16 Champion.

Congratulations to the Stafford Little League (District 16) for winning the Junior Softball Section 4 Championship, defeating Elmer LL 13-4. Stafford moves on to play the Section 3 winner on 7/14 at Par Troy West Little League. District 16 New Jersey Little League

Congratulations to Pitman Little League for winning the Section 4 Little League Softball title - defeating Audubon 9-4 in the deciding game of the tournament. Pitman will play for the state title starting on Wednesday, with the games being played at Harrison Twp Little League. Good Luck Pitman!

Congratulations to Harrison Twp Little League for winning the District 15 8-10 Title with a 9-5 win over East Greenwich. Harrison Twp is back in action on Sunday 7/16 at 5 pm in Gibbstown against the winner of District 13/District 14.

Congratulations to Swedesboro Woolwich Little League for winning the District 15 Minor League Softball title, winning 13-1 over Harrison Twp Little League. SWLL will move on to the Section 4 tournament next week. SWLL will play the winner of District 16/District 3 on Tuesday in Waterford!

Congratulations to Deptford Little League for winning the 2023 NJ District 15 10/11 Title over East Greenwich tonight 9-1. Deptford moved in to the section 4 tournament beginning on Sunday July 9. Deprford will play on Monday 7/10 against the winner of District 13 & District 16.

Congratulations to Swedesboro Woolwich Little League for defeating West Deptford LL 12-2 to win the District 15 Junior Softball title. Yesterday, SWLL defeated Haddon Twp (District 13) 14-0. SWLL will play Stafford tomorrow in Section 4 tournament. Good Luck Girls!

Congratulations to West Deptford Little League for defeating Swedesboro Woolwich Little League 4-3 to win the District 15 Kid Pitch 8 Baseball. The team will play on July 15 against the District 18 winner in Hamilton. Good Luck Boys!!

Congratulations to Pitman Little League who picked up the District 15 title for Little League Softball with a 10-0 win over East Greenwich last week.

In the section tournament so far - the team has defeated Northfield 8-2 and Audubon 6-4. The team takes Cherry Hill tomorrow at 6 pm

Congratulations to the 2023 District 15 Small Town Coach Pitch champions Mantua Little League who went undefeated in the series to win against Elk Township yesterday!!

District 15 would like to send our sincerest condolences to the Deptford Police Department and the family of Deptford Twp. Police Officer Robert Shisler #5273 who succumbed to his injuries last evening after being shot in the line of duty in March.

Officer Shisler is a District 15 alumnus. We will always remember his sacrifice and his memory will live on through the valor and commitment of all law enforcement officers.

Our hearts are heavy and filled with deep sorrow. In Officer Shisler's honor, leagues around District 15 will be holding a moment of silence at 5:50 this evening.

Just to cover this now, NJ District 15 Little League supports Deptford Little Leagues rule on fan behavior but the district can not enforce on any fan who attends a game in Deptford that rule. This rule is an in house rule and Deptford citizens and fans this rule is 100% entacted. If you feel like you may have an issue with an umpire during a game in Deptford please do yourself a favor and either don’t attend the game or sit in your car and watch from there. Today District 15 hosted its first ever umpire clinic. One goal that DA Bill Gore () has had since becoming DA is to grow the volunteer group of umpires to eventually host a regional tournament again. We want to give a special thanks to District 15 Umpire-In-Chief Brian Kennedy, Warren Kleinschmidt, Mike Walsh, and Vicki and Julius Trimbach.
