Something to keep in mind this holiday season
The days are still getting colder & shorter, and the holidays themselves can be a particularly stressful time for many. All your feelings this season are valid, including those that are difficult or unexpected. Allow yourself to feel whatever comes, and make sure to prioritize your mental health.

Just wanted to share my favorite home workout fitness youtube channel. I have been doing Blogilates for years and still love it. Cassey Ho kicks your butt but always has modifications, never yells, and always entertains. It's free and she has tons of different videos.

Wow, look at how cool this inclusive playground is!!
At this time, playgrounds remain closed due to COVID-19, but we can look to the future and get excited for a new playground to be built at Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park!
City Council approved construction of the new Inclusive Playground which is scheduled to begin next week. The City of Lancaster celebrates parks and playgrounds that promote community development to help build stronger and more resilient communities.
The playground is funded by the City of Lancaster through the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Authorized under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, CDBG provides annual grants to cities and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing a decent and suitable living environment, addressing special needs groups, and maintaining and promoting neighborhood preservation.
For more information on what is closed or open in LA County please visit http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/.

Great message to remember during difficult times
If you arent feeling like yourself right now, this post is for you. ⠀
⠀
Are you going through the motions, but your heart doesn't seem in the right place? Do you feel like you'd rather sleep or binge watch TV than deal with anything? ⠀
⠀
Do you try to find whatever you can to numb out the intense emotions that are always sitting there right underneath the surface? ⠀
⠀
Are you snappy, tired, frustrated, short fuzed, irritable, angry?⠀
⠀
(don't worry, this isn't a drug commercial)⠀
⠀
If so, you're not alone. ⠀
⠀
You're not alone and, in fact, your part of the majority right now. ⠀
⠀
No one is killing it in life right now. ⠀
⠀
No one is living the dream and waking up having the best time of their life. ⠀
⠀
If there are those people, its probably because they've spent their life like you are right now, and finally they are getting a break they deserve. ⠀
⠀
But right now, it's tough. It's scary, it's confusing. ⠀
⠀
We have so many fears, we couldn't possibly count them. ⠀
We spend our time worrying about just about everything. ⠀
⠀
We're mourning the loss of so many experiences and future dreams. ⠀
⠀
We're missing our friends and family who we haven't seen in so long. ⠀
⠀
We aren't sure how much longer we can take it. ⠀
⠀
Our kids. Oh our kids. We hate that we cant provide them everything they need right now. ⠀
⠀
I'm sorry kids. I am so so sorry!⠀
⠀
But I keep holding on to what my grandma (and the bible) has told me my whole life.⠀
⠀
"This too, shall pass."⠀
⠀
trouble doesn't last always (not sure where that quote is from)⠀
⠀
This time in our life is hard. We are in the trenches, yall. ⠀
⠀
This is the exact period in our life that is shaping our future. ⠀
⠀
It hurts. It's painful. It's uncomfortable. It's miserable. ⠀
⠀
But it's necessary. It's going to make us grow. ⠀
And it won't be like this forever. ⠀
⠀
Don't give up. ⠀
⠀
Your doing better than you think. ⠀
⠀
It's ok if you aren't on your A-game. ⠀
⠀
You will be soon. ⠀
⠀
I love you and am right here with you. ⠀
⠀
This too shall pass. ⠀
⠀
⠀
Share this with someone who needs to hear this. ⠀
