Positivity project # 14.
How will you continue to spread positivity?
āJust as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.ā
ā Dalai Lama XIV
By advocating, raising awareness and being a role model for individuals like myself; I hope to cause a ripple effect.
Like a stone dropped into a body of water.
The effect from that single stone can be followed outwards infinitely and well beyond what we can even see.
I strive to be a source of inspiration, motivation and hope for individuals on the Autism Spectrum and prove that truly, āANYTHING IS POSSIBLEā.

What song makes you happy?
Ten Feet Tall Song by Afrojack, makes me feel like I can conquer anything that might come my way.
Yes it's about the feeling that someone gets from being loved by someone. I've learned how to LOVE MYSELF before ANYONE and ANYTHING. I was clumsy, awkward and self-conscious for so long.
Self love is so important, I'm not talking about looking in the mirror type of "hey, I love you š" it's loving myself completely. Loving the person that you are! Loving what you do for others, expecting nothing in return.
This will make you feel like you're ten feet tall!!
Lyrics:
I'm clumsy, yeah my head's a mess
'Cause you got me growing taller everyday
We're giants in a little man's world
My heart is pumping up so big that it could burst
Been trying so hard not to let it show
But you got me feeling like
I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats
I swear I could touch the sky
Ohhh ohh ohhh
I'm ten feet tall
Ohhh oh ohhhh
I'm ten feet tall
I'll be careful, so don't be afraid
You're safe here, no, these arms won't let you break
I'll put up a sign in the clouds
So they all know that we ain't ever coming down
Been trying so hard not to let it show
But you got me feeling like
I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats
I swear I could touch the sky
Ohhh oh ohhh
I'm ten feet tall
Ohhh oh ohhhh
I'm ten feet tall
You build me up
Make me what I never was
You build me up
From nothing into something
Yeah, something from the dust
Been trying so hard not to let it show
But you got me feeling like
I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats
I swear I could touch the sky
Ohhh oh ohhh
I'm ten feet tall
Ohhh oh ohhhh
I'm ten feet tall
Ohhh oh ohhh
I'm ten feet tall
Ohhh oh ohhhh
I'm ten feet tall.

"Autism is not a disability, itās a different ability"- Stuart Duncan.
From Chantal:
I know from experience how difficult it can be for these kids. Children with Autism, Hearing & speaking disabilities often feel judged or excluded from our society. And now having a bigger platform like Miss Curacao 2020 I could not let this day pass without telling you how important it is for us to remind these children that they shouldnāt judge themselves or doubt their uniqueness due to society standards.
Whats sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and its not. Because allot of the time its exactly what makes you great. So we should help them celebrate that! Celebrate your uniqueness, celebrate your individuality. And donāt let your uniqueness makes you shy and donāt try to be other than the wonder that you already are!
Every star is important to the sky just they are in our society!

Positivity project day #8
What is your favorite inspirational quote?
My favorite quote is one that my mom has always told me:
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if weāre apartā¦Iāll always be with you.
A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh
Growing up with A.S.D. I've always doubted myself and suffered from anxiety.
This quote is urging us to remember, even as the reader, that we truly are braver, stronger and smarter than we might admit, even to ourselves.
In our crazy, work-a-day world, we adults often forget this little bit of advice. We become timid, more afraid of what we have to lose than what we might gain.

Positivity project day #7
Give words of encouragement to someone who needs it.

ā¢ it's better for the environment: Recycling reduces the need for raw materials and hence preserves the rainforests. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses emitted from waste in the landfills harm the environment. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. When products are made from raw materials, large amounts of energy are used.

International United Miss positivity project, day 1.
How do you stay positive in a world with so much negativity?
Growing up I was bullied and I knew first hand what it felt like to be on the receiving end of constant daily negativity. I've learned about self love and I made it a mission to try to spread positive vibes no matter where I go, a little smile goes a longway because You never know what someone might be going through. I try to be a pebble,
Someone once told me about :
Drop a Pebble in the Water poem:
Drop a pebble in the water: just a splash, and it is gone;
But thereās half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on, Spreading, spreading from the center, flowing on out to the sea. And there is no way of telling where the end is going to be.
Drop a pebble in the water: in a minute you forget, But thereās little waves a-flowing, and thereās ripples circling yet, And those little waves a-flowing to a great big wave have grown; Youāve disturbed a mighty river just by dropping in a stone.
Drop an unkind word, or careless: in a minute it is gone; But thereās half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on.
They keep spreading, spreading, spreading from the center as they go, And there is no way to stop them, once youāve started them to flow.
Drop an unkind word, or careless: in a minute you forget; But thereās little waves a-flowing, and thereās ripples circling yet, And perhaps in some sad heart a mighty wave of tears youāve stirred, And disturbed a life was happy ere you dropped that unkind word.
Drop a word of cheer and kindness: just a flash and it is gone; But thereās half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on,
Bearing hope and joy and comfort on each splashing, dashing wave Till you wouldnāt believe the volume of the one kind word you gave.
Drop a word of cheer and kindness: in a minute you forget; But thereās gladness still a-swelling, and thereās joy a-circling yet, And youāve rolled a wave of comfort whose sweet music can be heard Over miles and miles of water just by dropping one kind word.
Be a pebble ā¤ļø

On Saturday, April 9 , 2022 ( Early morning with my sister queen) volunteering with for the
in my hometown Staten Island.
Richmond University Medical Center held 2nd Annual Arnold Obey 5K Run/Walk/Bike in Clove Lakes Park.
Close to 200 individuals participated in Richmond University Medical Centerās 2nd annual Arnold Obey/RUMC 5K Run/Walk/Bike event on Saturday, April 9, at Clove Lakes Park.
Over $20,000 was raised from the event, earmarked for the the purchase of state of the art medical equipment for the hospitalās Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Arnold Obey, a long-time educator and a pillar in Staten Islandās sports community starting from when he starred on Wagner Collegeās basketball team in the mid-1960s.
Obeyās extensive resume included an educational career that included stints as a teacher, assistant principal and principal; a basketball career that ranged from player, coach and referee and an avid road-racing tenure that included nearly four decades running the New York City Marathon.
RUMCās NICU is a Level III intensive care unit consisting of 19-intensive and intermediate-care beds and six continuing care beds. The unit specializes in the care of high-risk newborns, some weighing only one pound when born.
The NICUās survival rate stands at over 99%, one of the highest survival rates in the country. RUMCās NICU was also one of the first facilities to receive certification from the City of New York in the 1960s, a time when NICUs were still something of a novelty.
For over five decades, RUMCās NICU has cared for more than 30,000 newborns.

What a super awesome day!
Today I had the privilege to volunteer with my father and his company . We prepared 15,000 care packages , each care package feeds a family of 6, that's 90,000 people fed.
A little bit about :
WHAT IS A HUNGER PROJECT?
MEAL PACKAGING EVENTS
Hunger Projects are fun, high-energy and hands-on meal packaging events that empower volunteers to make a tangible difference in the fight against hunger. With music booming, teams work together to package delicious meals for the millions of Americans living below the poverty line, including children, seniors and veterans across the country.
š„THE IMPACT
Itās about more than just filling the belly of a hungry child or their family, itās about what happens next. Volunteers are empowered to make a tangible difference and change a story in their own community or across the world.
š„OUR MISSION
Feeding Families Today And Uniting Them To A Healthier Tomorrow
We are committed to providing healthy meals to those in need.
We are committed to solving the root causes of food insecurity. Creating a hunger-free world will be possible if we work collectively to question the underlying poverty-driven socioeconomic factors that forced people to seek help from organizations in the first place. This knowledge has led us to understand that we have an obligation to not just feed people, but to address those factors in concert with one another.
We are committed to making your contribution truly matter! Financial efficiency and meaningful impact are the pillars of our commitment. We believe that financial transparency combined with insightful data analytics is the key to a contribution that makes a meaningful difference
ROOT CAUSES OF HUNGER
Our food is just the beginning. Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) are underlying poverty-driven socioeconomic factors that force people to seek food in the first place. We are using our food as a platform for working with partners to identify and help provide solutions for addressing the FIVE major determinants, which are economic and social health promoting factors that best determine how we all live and work.

It's National Autism Acceptance day. This day just like EVERY day I wish for Acceptance. Being an adult living with Autism and being treated differently or unfair because people are still uneducated about Autism, it hurts. Yes I'm different but I am pretty awesome if you get to know me.
Acceptance is something the global population has been and continues to struggle with, but engaging in conversation and learning about one anotherās perspectives, we can individually become accepting. And if the global population decides to embrace such a philosophy, our world can be filled with more love and acceptance and less hatred and stigmatism. Let us all aim to be aware and accepting of the global autism community as well as others. It starts with you and educating yourself.
What is Autism? Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 44 children in the United States today.
We know that there is not one autism but many subtypes, most influenced by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Because autism is a spectrum disorder, each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths and challenges. The ways in which people with autism learn, think and problem-solve can range from highly skilled to severely challenged. Some people with ASD may require significant support in their daily lives, while others may need less support and, in some cases, live entirely independently.
Several factors may influence the development of autism, and it is often accompanied by sensory sensitivities and medical issues such as gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, seizures or sleep disorders, as well as mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and attention issues.
