Yoni steaming is an ancient practice that provides gentle and effective support for women's wellness. Also known as va**nal steaming and V steams.
Think of a yoni steam as a facial for the va**na. It creates the same effects as a facial but it does so internally for your va**na canal and uterus. Yoni steaming is an age old natural remedy set to aid in cleansing the va**na and uterus, to regulate menstruation, and to ease period cramps and bloating. Herbal healers around the world have been using this practice for centuries. It allows a women the chance to reconnect with her body and use plant medicine to improve her menstrual cycle and to regulate various health issues. Yoni, as we said before, is a Sanskirt word meaning va**na, womb, or origin of life. Yoni steaming is the ritual of gently cleansing and healing your va**na by allowing the warmth to permeate the va**na, cervix, uterus, and entire reproductive system. The yoni steam is usually infused with healing herbs which are activated through the steam. The steam will physically and emotionally detox your body and womb as well. Many women hold tramas within their womb and if we dont take the time to heal past traumas, a wound will keep rebirthing. Yoni steaming is a great form of self love and reconnecting to your feminity.
So many of us women grow up referring to the va**na with all sorts of vague and confusing terms for our most sacred space. Vah Jay Jay, P*e P*e, Tah Tah, etc. If we can not say the word va**na or Yoni, how can we expect to be connected to "her"?
Va**na in Latin translates to: Sheath or scabbard for a sword. Gladius (sword) was a common term for the p***s- a scabbard into which one might slide and sheath a sword.
Va**na is not a sheath or shabbard, or just a place of pleasure for others. It is not a dirty word or a dirty thing, or something that should not be spoken of. Your va**na is your most sacred space. That is why so many of us are reclaiming the word Yoni. The word Yoni is Sanskirt for sacred space and when we are connected to our most sacred spaces we are connected to the deepest part of ourselves.
