This little bunny wanted some Pu'er tea so we over-enthusiastically recommended it start with our Take 5 Raw Pu'er, as it's just such a good tea for getting in to this type, with it's dried fruit sweetness and more mellow energy, and just being a really hard tea to steep wrong.

Thanks for our new little tea pet. adorable.

We're kicking everything off here in Burnett Lane for the laneway Partea and to celebrate we've also got a new tea: Watermelon Man white tea.

Starting off floral, as this tea opens up so do it's more fruity flavours. Perfect for summer.

Take 5 has a more relaxed feel than most raw Pu'er we've tasted. You can expect dried fruit and sultana notes, especially from your first few steeps, mellowing out to toasted grains at the end.

These beautiful leaves are waiting for you at Communitea gathering, Green Square. Our great friends are manning the store today and there's plenty of our little humour Pu'er tea to go round, go say hello and check out the many other vendors and events today. Open from 10-4pm.

Excited to announce we will be part of the Communitea Gathering at Green Square on Saturday 17 December.

107's Communitea Gathering will be offering tea tastings, market and other tea experiences.

This is an event to connect different communities through tea and allow everyone to experience tea at a different level.

There will be a selection of vendors offering Matcha (Simply Native), Organic, loose leaf tea (Tea & Gather), Chai (The Chai Room), Bubble Tea (TeaMe Up), Chinese tea (Bei Bei Tea) for people to enjoy and taste.

There will be live entertainment, photozone, drop-in art wrokshops to entertain the young ones while you are having a cuppa.

There will also be a panel discussion as our highlight event since deep conversation has always been the core of tea drinking and gathering.

The event is free but don't forget to register to ensure you won't miss out.

It's been a while...

While we would like you to go drink our tea instead of reading this, we'll take this opportunity to explain ourselves.

Thanks to your overwhelming support at the last brisbane tea festival and beyond, we completely sold out of everything within weeks. Hardly a leaf left for us to steep. Don't worry, we forgive you.

Restrictions overseas meant getting tea from our friends in Yunnan and Chongqing was next to impossible. It was disappointing, but we took this as an opportunity to focus on some things in our personal lives.

We're back now, re-energised and most importantly re-stocked. We still hope that this can be a platform to simply share tea with friends. So watch this space as more tea comes online, events get announced, head over to beibeitea.com to get yourself some more Pu'er tea, and don't be afraid to say hello.
