My temperature blanket is finally complete! A whopping 366 hexagons, each to signify a day in the first year my partner and I spent together. This is definitely the biggest project I have done to date, I started planning it in October, crocheting in November and I sewed the last end in, after midnight yesterday. It was our two year anniversary at the start of the month, and yes I did give it to him with hundreds of ends not sewed in🤭 Month tags and temperature key by the very talented who is based locally to myself in Derbyshire, yarn is Dk is many different colours

Happy April everyone! Suddenly the realisation hit me that I haven’t posted since January, I’ve been crafting away, but I’ve been focusing on my little goslings.

I crocheted two blankets, and, of course, they were both claimed before I had the chance to share them. I love being able to create items that my children can take interest in, and I do struggle to say no.

I have this gorgeous Newborn set for sale, that’s the good thing about making things that are too small for my two.

🪿🌊 I think I may have created my favourite blanket, so far!
🪿🌊This was knitted using ‘Beach Colors Baby Blanket’ by Stefee Knudsen, you can find this pattern on Ravelry. I did some changes to the pattern, I turned the colours to be portrait and I also tweaked the size and some of the pattern. Overall, this was a beautiful pattern to work with!
🪿🌊 The blanket was made for a ‘Seaside’ themed nursery at the Grandparent’s house, I do have to say that it looks the part.

Since Christmas 2020, I have made these Santa hats. I wanted to do something to add a little joy for my Goslings that year, little did I know that I would end up making 106. The following year, I offered them again- 200+ were made, then, last Christmas was even more. I ran out of time last year as it was a last minute decision to put them up again, but this year, I’ve made an early start, and opening the order book sooner. 🪿There is something about this jumper I just love, the simplicity and the traditional style makes this the perfect piece to any outfit. My name is Georgia and I am a mum to two beautiful children; I started my knitting journey when I was pregnant with my eldest (I was only 17 and she’ll be 6 this year!). I really got into knitting whilst pregnant with my youngest, he’s a covid baby and having to go on maternity leave early, meant I had to entertain myself someway during nap time. Fun fact, the first day of lockdown was my first day of maternity leave!

I live in a small village in Derbyshire, England. It’s pretty quiet and there’s not much to do, although it’s a very picturesque place. So, I started my knitting journey when I found out I was expecting my little girl over four years ago. I learnt how to create some little bits for her, it was great for keeping myself occupied whilst I waited for her arrival. My newfound hobby didn’t last after she was born, she was very much a mummy’s girl and wanted all my attention. Fast forwards to a few years later and I found out I was expecting my little boy, I knew straight away that I needed to knit for his arrival too. Once again, it kept me busy! Only this time, I haven’t stopped! My pass time has turned into a very big passion, on top on raising my two children and working full time. Unfortunately, there is only so much I can knit and keep which is why I have started to share my creations with others. So far I have had amazing feedback, I’m forever grateful for everyone who has purchased.
