While the numbers are not in our favor, I am proud of the work everyone contributed to Team Lopez for HD 45! If this has inspired you to become involved in our local, state and national political conversations, continue to do so. We need your voice!

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day to come out and vote in Hays County!

It’s Election Day!

I’ve been in San Marcos this morning - First Baptist Church, Texas State, and Hays County Government Center.

Be sure all your friends and family are coming out today. We can do this!!

Join me at the Election Day Watch Party hosted by the Hays County Republican Party Headquarters. I'd love to see you there! Doors will open at 6:30pm. I plan to arrive, once the polls close at 7pm.

The day has finally arrived ... ELECTION DAY!

We are so close to making it across the finish line! Here are a few items for this last push to Get Out the Vote! I have been blessed to have so many incredible team members and volunteers who have shared of their valuable time, spectacular talents and hard-earned treasure. THANK YOU!

Here are a few requests I am making of each of you to get us over the finish line and to a WIN!

1. Be my "Plus 1" and find other "Plus 1s" tomorrow. To win this race, I only need 50% of the vote, plus 1 vote. If you have not voted, I need you to commit to be my "plus 1", AND to find others to commit to be my "plus 1". Polls are open from 7a to 7p, and you can vote at any location in the county. 2. Signs, Signs, Signs ... If you have some time tomorrow, please drop by a polling location and hold one of my signs. Bring your positive energy, greet all the voters walking by and engage them, if possible. You can pick up a sign from the ground there to hold, and just put it back when you're done. Take a photo of yourself, or a video, post and tag me. Let us know what the line looks like. 😀 Feel free to call/text me at (512) 688-6452 if you'd like to know a good place to hold signs tomorrow.

3. Bring your yard signs to a polling location near you! If you have a Lopez for HD 45 yard sign in your yard, bring it to a poling location and place it near the other signs. If you see yard signs in your neighborhood, along the way to the polls, pick them up and bring to add to the signs already at the polling location. This will help us reduce the number of trips around neighborhoods to pick up signs.

Vote Lesli for Justice, Third Court of Appeals, Place 4! She would be the lone conservative voice on this court and would represent us well! Lesli will bring fairness, balance, integrity and her exceptional experience to the bench for us.

You may not use your phone when voting. If you’d like to remember the candidates you are voting for, bring a piece of paper with the names, bring the card you received in the mail or print a copy of it from here.

And, if you forget it, look for the sign at the polls with Republican Party Candidate List, and they will have a copy.

Great weekend visiting with friends and neighbors around Hays County!

From block walking in San Marcos, to breakfast with our local veterans, several community festivals at The Door Church Kyle, St Anthony Marie de Claret and St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Texas State Homecoming Tailgate with the Texas State College Republicans, a quick birthday celebration with Mark Jones for Hays and putting up signs at the polling locations! And, Saturday night I was able to put on the Mom hat and take my son to the Ed Sheeran concert. 😊

Team Lopez for HD 45 - we CAN do this! Early voting begins today, and the voters I have been speaking with in the district over the last 6 months are ready for a change to strengthen our families, promote quality education of our children, ensure parent empowerment when it comes to making decisions for our kids’ education and health, strengthen our economy, lower the cost of property taxes and essentials, and keep our communities safe and drug free.

Thanks you all for the support you have given me! It’s time to take that support, along with all your friends and family who hold the same concerns and values, to the polls!
