Because, they are hardier, in both cold and heat, they lay equally, if not better, they are less destructive to your property, they require simpler housing, they don’t eat each other or keel over from endless parasites or disease, personality, oh the personalities they have, and finally pest control, no bug, slug or worm is safe around a duck!
