Be Thankful. Be Grateful. Be Hopeful

Like most of us we anxiously awaited the arrival of a new year. In some ways we looked for it as a Savior from these hellish conditions that was and still is present around us.
The possibilities and promises of new life; new hope; new path; new favor; new normal; new expectations give this assurance and control that solidifies a sense of peace, joy, and happiness.

These are all wonderful but what if 2021 is not what you think it would be but instead it's worst than 2020? No job, no cure, no food, more lockdowns, more restrictions what if what if. The what ifs of life can quickly make anyone anxious and fearful.

However, there is an antidote to all the chaos, confusions, and the what ifs of life with or without a pandemic. One might ask what is it? The power of your gratitude and thankfulness in spite of in the midst of; the power of knowing who you are and the choices that comes with it is a plus. Knowing, not feeling, that you like everyone else was created to be in this place and space at this moment for a reason and yes for only a season. Whatever the reasons are they are beneficial while seasons might be long or short.

The goal is to know your reason and live in your season. Then choose to be thankful with loads of gratitude. The knowledge of who you are, what or why you're here gives you this adaciousness to look adversity in the face and smile; not out of fear or apprehension but with an assurance and peace knowing that it all will be okay. As simple as that.

Knowing that birds are fed and they don't work to feed themselves. The sun rises to give me light without fail. It rains so that things can grow that I may be fed and breathe causes the most committed pessimist to find that silverlining. Don't you know you're more valuable, more important, more needed, more deserving than an animal or things in creation?

What caused you to think you'll be left as an orphan?

Come on, begin to live, don't wait on life; don't wait on 2021 or 22 or 23 or an any date. Don't wait on anything but get up, show up, and DO. YOU'RE WELL NOW. YOU'RE DESERVING NOW... YOU'RE BLESSED NOW. DON'T LIVE OUT OF YOUR SEASON BUT BE PRESENT NOW...CHOOSE AND LIVE NOW. Your New Year starts now. When you realise you deserve more and do something about it 🎉🎉🎉
