"Webster University has a very rich diverse student population and I like the fact that I have been able to learn a lot from people of different cultures and beliefs. Here at Webster, we just don’t talk about diversity, we live it. With the structures already put in place, it was pretty much easy for to adapt to schooling/living away from my comfort zone (my home country). I know how scary it is leaving your home country and coming to whole new environment not knowing what to expect. The staff at Multicultural Center & International Student Affairs at Webster University have been helpful in getting me settled into my new life. Also, getting involved in campus activities is another way to build friendship which helps in eliminating the feeling of home sickness. I am currently the Ambassador for Diversity and Student Inclusion (SGA), the President of the Association for African Students and the Student Coordinator for the International Student Association here at Webster University.
The best part of being part of the Walker School of Business & Technology at Webster University is the fact that the classes are designed to accommodate a sizable number of students which makes it easier for interactions and for the professors to help out with any issues one has with the course. All my professors have been helpful, understanding and always ready to give advice as regards my courses. One memorable experience being part of the Walker school was meeting Dean Simone Cummings. Her smile and welcoming nature made my day plus she had some good words of encouragement which was enough to brighten my day. “
