Self-Advocacy. I work with your students everyday. We have a procedure in place for homework, grades, questions, checks for understanding, etc.
Self advocacy helps students to take ownership for their learning. Before contacting me about a grade or question, check in with your student first. If they are not sure, please have them contact me and I can respond directly to them. This not only streamlines the process, but offers students to take ownership. However, if you do not get a response, please reach out.
